I'm sad this restaurant isn't near where we live! We found it along our travels and it was delicious. There was more salmon than I expected and it was moist and cooked perfectly. I got the mandarin orange vinaigrette - try it! So good. Our waitress, Ashley, was sweet, attentive, and very helpful with my gluten allergy. They have a separate GF menu that's small but it has variety- fish, chicken, and beef options so no complaints here. Depending on how severe an allergy you have, there's probably other items off the main menu for some people. The manager, Chris, seemed to know nearly everyone dining, even calling them by name. What a welcoming environment. The bathrooms were super clean, too.

Went to San Diego Grill for my wife's Mother's Day with my daughter's family..My daughter ordered mahi-mahi which was under cooked and had to be sent back for more cooking.I ordered fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and house salad.Fries and salad were excellent but breading on shrimp came off with touching it.Son in law had mahi-mahi which was cooked well, but onion rings batter had same problem as my shrimp.On the bright side, my wife ordered beef fajitas and said some of the best ever.Overall, not a bad meal for the price.

San Diego Grill was the first restaurant we tried when visiting Port Orange in 2018. We retired here a year later, and it remains a favorite (I'm addicted to the Blackened Chicken Cheese and Nut Salad!). Always great friendly service too.I do have a small critique after today's visit. We came for breakfast with family visiting for the holidays. First time for us for breakfast here, and it mostly did not disappoint. Except my daughter, who ordered the Strawberry Waffle Combo. There was literally so much whipped cream covering the waffle that it was soggy and cold when she ate it. She didn't want to complain so didn't say anything until later. Rest of our meal was tasty though.Like I stated, we love San Diego Grill, just hope maybe my comments are seen and they ease up on that whipped cream!

Consistently good food. Servers are very nice and polite. The grilled chicken spinach salad very good. I got the orange vinaigrette dressing to go with it on the side. Yummy. My husband got a Reuben. It was very thick and he said it was very good

Ordered fish and chips with Cole slaw. Only got fish and Cole slaw. Was shocked that there were no chips. Waiter should have told me that the Cole slaw was the substitute for fries. He did offer to put in an order for fries but it was too late. The fish was good but the Cole slaw wasn't. I usually just let it go but this wasn't cheap and I was very disappointed. Good margarita though.

Just had Thanksgiving dinner at the San Diego Grill ,was delicious everything was so good no complaints at all from anyone in our party ! Hesitated going out for Thanksgiving but it was great and the best part no cleanup,just came home turn on the TV and watch the Detroit Lions hopefully win !!
