Wonderful Atmosphere with unique food choices, good drinks and wonderful service! I would highly recommend it to anyone!!

We have been here before and it remains a fine spot. The location is lovely. Staff was courteous and helpful.The food is fine. I had the shrimp and it was fine.

This is more of a 3.5. First of all, service. Lexi was 5 stars; she put up with all of our questions and family banter with a smile. She was fantastic! The appetizers: I thought the fried pickles, gator, and calamari were all great. The coconut shrimp was disappointing. Main dishes: No one was super impressed with their meals. Stuffed shrimp were over cooked so they were stuck to the bottom of the pan. They were ok, but not what they rave about. Crab legs were good but served cold. Bbq shrimp were weird; they need to change that. No one liked them at our party of 8. Burger seemed like a bubba burger and not fresh. Cheese grits were over cooked. Mac and cheese was ok. Everything was just..ok. Sunset grill was closed today and the only reason we visited this place. It kinda ended up being a let down, but we still had a good time.

Pretty good. Service was very good. This place is located on tge intercoastal so the views are really nice. Did the shrimp 3 way for me. One complaint when you have saucy shrimp remove ALL the tail so you can eat with a fork and not worry about getting sticky fingers. Sides were black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. Candyce did the chicken fried steak and said it was very tender. Just the one gotcha but that is me.....Other than that.... pretty good and food was great.

The food was good, the service was on point and the ambience was perfect for our family of 5! The appetizers came out in a timely manner, corn nuggets and gator tail. The nuggets were lacking flavor but the gate tail was fried perfectly. Skip the nuggets!The entrees took a long time after we ordered them and when they arrived they were barely warm. The crab legs were over cooked and the fried oysters were a bit under. They were friend but some of the breading what soggy, they needed some extra seconds in the fryer. The best entree was the ribs and shrimp. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the shrimp was yummy. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service but there are other restaurants serving up seafood perfection in the area.

We were recommended to go here for the sunset. It was amazing. The food is also great. The blue crab stuffed shrimp was really tasty. I had surf and turf, a nice sirloin with a skewer of shrimp. A side of really large and tasty onion rings topped off the meal. A great experience that I hope to repeat again.

Phenomenal. Incredible. And the view at sunset is one of the best I've seen across the country. Marsh-side on the intercostal, I stumbled on Salt Water Cowboys via Google Maps research of somewhere new for St. Augustine while visiting. Opting for steamed oysters to start, I also chose a fresh seafood entree. Additionally opting for a mojito mocktail, the service and food were absolutely A+ and on point. Had such a great time, and cannot wait to come back!

Salt Water Cowboys has excellent food and they give you plenty of it too! Very rustic inside and in a pretty location over water. Server was excellent. Highly recommend it.

Never Again. "Under New Management". Online menu doesnt match. Asked for a substitution was told no due to "portioning" asked to speak to manager several times politely never appearedNope, never again. Had the manager came out to chat then I wouldnt be writing his. However their indifference speaks volumes.

Service is good; food is ok but all of our main doshes were lacking n flavor or under cooked. The biggest issuu was cleanliness as our table was filthy along with the floor and we got there soon after they opened. It looked like no one cleaned the night before.
