Ruby SoHo Organic Salon

Needed a cut and color before I left on vacation, so I scheduled an appointment with my favorite salon and hair stylist, Jill!When I arrived she was ready for me and greeted me with a warm hug. One of the real pros of seeing Jill is she's a one woman show, so you really get to know her on a personal level and she gets to know you. Every visit is like seeing an old friend.She also greeted my kiddo with a warm hug, too! Which he appreciated.I came prepared with a few pictures of what I was looking for. Remember the sign of a good stylist is they'll be honest with you. I had a few different versions of what I was looking for in color, and Jill was honest about whether my hair would actually "grab" the color on one of the pics. I'm glad I listened, because my hair is notoriously annoying and doesn't always take certain colors the best.While my color was setting, she gave my kiddo one of her favorite hair washes and scalp massages. He was in seventh heaven.Once I got my cut and color, I felt like a new woman. It's always such a joy getting my hair done at Jill's. I really like the fact that she's conscious about using organic products. I also love the fact that she always does a stellar job.

I moved to Jacksonville three years ago and it took me almost a year to find Ruby Soho!!! Now we are moving again and if I could take Jill with me I would!!! I always leave with beautiful hair. My color and cut is always perfect!!! On top of her being an exceptionally skilled hairdresser, her salon feels like home, it is so relaxing, just as a salon should be. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right salon and person that you feel comfortable with, but the first time I walked through Ruby SoHo's door I immediately knew my search for the perfect salon and hair stylist was over!!! If I am ever able to get back to Jacksonville I will definitely make sure I get an appointment with Jill!!!!

Jill has been my hairdresser for over 12 years! Her salon is very relaxing and a refreshing change from over crowded, loud salons. She takes the time to understand your needs and never disappoints!

I LOVE Jill!! She is such a positive person and I feel like a better person when I leave, she lifts my spirits every time. She has her own room in a building split up into several salons. She also has another lady who uses her space on her off days.Jill specializes in organic and natural products and is always working on a project to help out people or the planet. You won't regret meeting Jill or having her update your do!! Her space is a little hard to find (tucked away behind the Gate gas station) but it is so worth it!!

Jill is the BEST! She loves what she does, and it shows. Talented, creative, thorough..I can't say enough good things. Her shop is funky and inviting and she makes you feel welcome and beautiful. Plus she uses products that are good for the environment. Do yourself a favor, let Jill do your hair!

Jill has done my hair for forever now, I wouldn't go to anyone else! I have never been unhappy, she listens and always gives me what's best for me! Highly recommended

What a quaint friendly salon that has a spa feel. Jill is such a professional, not only good at what she does with your hair but a positive entertaining person in general. Makes you feel like you are her best friend when you are in her chair. Of course looking great when you leave is always a plus!

Jill is so great at what she does. I really love the fact she uses all organic products so that it's safe to bring my baby with me if I have to. Very inviting salon. Overall great experience. A+++
