Service was excellent! Food was delicious!Had the spinach salad with fried shrimp. Huge portion and absolutely delicious! Shrimp were perfect and not greasy at all! Loved the dressing!Iced teas were refilled without asking or waiting!

My son and I were in town for the weekend and looking for a place to watch the Saturday NFL playoff games. All the recommended places were PACKED...and we ended up at RP's.It didn't look like much from the outside...or inside.But the service and food were great. Hard to rank which was #1 and which was #2. We went all appetizers...all VERY tasty. In order of (slight) preference, I'd say:Billy's Beach Dip -- Crab, Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, Tortilla ChipsPimento Cheese -- Hot Pepper Jelly, Toasted Pecans, Ritz CrackersConch fritters with lime mustard sauceDon't let the outside fool you...great place to catch a ball game or just spend time with friends eating great food!

I can't wait to go back! This little hidden gem, apparently everyone knew about but me. The food was so good. The portions were huge! The service at the bar seats were great! Staff was helpful and friendly. Only con was the weight time to get a table, or to snag two bar seats which we did eventually.

Came with the whole family. Food is still very good. Was disappointed they were out of calamari. Waitress said for 2 weeks. I had the blackened fish wrap. It had very good flavor. Good selection of beers. Place was packed but looked like they didn't have enough staffing. Our waitress was phenomenal. Everyone loved their food. Gave 4 stars due to no calamari.

Sometimes ladies we just have no desire to put on make up & get dressed for dinner. Last night was that night. I wanted something really casual with good food. I remember someone recommended RP's a while back. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We drove up to this nondescriptive building with parking out front. There is a patio with string lights in the front by the parking lot. It was too cold last night for us Floridians to sit outside, so there was no one out there. Its a really cute spot if you don't mind looking at parked cars. Parking can be a challenge but if you drive around the back it's easier to park.once inside, were greeted by two young hostesses and were told it would be a few minutes before they could seat us. I'm not sure if they take reservations, but it does seem like the type of place that you can walk-in. There's a small bar with maybe 10 seats with a TV separated by a dining room with some booths and wooden chairs and tables. The ceiling is very low and it makes the place look cozy. It was decorated very festive for Christmas. After a few minutes we were seated however, the server could only find one menu which we passed back and forth. Luckily I had taken pictures of the board that has the specials on it, especially since the waitress never mentioned them when she went to take our order. The menu is pretty basic pub style food with chicken wings, burgers, salads. Etc. The board had more entrees that were a little more complicated. First, I looked over the drink menu and saw a blood orange jalapeño margarita. Ok! My husband ordered a Yuengling beer. We opted not to order appetizers and just enjoy our drinks. It did take quite a while for the server to bring the drinks. I did inquire where they were and she said the bar was very busy and backed up. When my margarita came, it was absolutely delicious & worth the wait. I think it's now my favorite place to have a jalapeño margarita And at only $11 It was perfect. For dinner I was thinking about ordering one of the special fishes but then I saw the table next to us had a delicious looking fried shrimp basket, sold! My husband ordered a cheeseburger which came with fries. His burger was a nice size and he said it was very good & cooked exactly how he ordered it, medium. My shrimp basket was very large. It came with about 8 fried shrimp on top of a pile of shoestring fries. Also in my basket were too large hush puppies, coleslaw, Tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. I gave the hush puppies to my husband after taking a bite of one and thought it was delicious. He felt the same way. The coleslaw was creamy & I could have eaten more of it. I asked for hot sauce and ate about half of my shrimp with the hot sauce. They were excellent. The fries were done perfectly. They were seasoned however they were a little too salty for me. My husband really enjoyed them though. I ended up taking half of it home. It was so large I planned on having it for lunch the next day. When the bill came, my husband was really surprised that his beer was only three dollars. I believe they do happy hour here every day Monday through Friday. Perhaps that's why his beer was such a great value. We really really enjoyed our dinner and said we definitely would be going back when we're looking for a casual spot.

We stopped in here on Saturday before getting the shuttle to the Georgia Florida game. We were made to feel so welcome upon arrival and Kelly was a great bartender. I ordered the Beach Boy burger which was delicious (those crispy onions ). The only slightly negative was that the burger lacked a little bit of seasoning but that could be down to personal preference, there was also a lot of extras in the burger so was still tasty. My other half had the blackened redfish special and he said this was 10/10! The space itself was really nice and welcoming and everyone in there was so friendly. If we are back in Jacksonville Beach we would definitely return and will recommend to anyone visiting.

Busy wine and whisky Wednesday. Excellent service from the bartender. Seating at bar area was hard to find but dining room was available. Great burger especially for a seafood restaurant.

My group and I were sadly disappointed dining at RP's. The inside was really cute, beachy decorations. But the service was okay, not bad but not great. Our food was just not good, we all got a variety of meals and we were not thrilled with any of them. We had heard good things previously, so it was disappointing, but maybe we came on a bad night.

Saw RP's on beach Blvd and checked it out. Place is really nice on the inside. Got seated right away. Good selection on the full menu and full bar. Decided on an appetizer with the cauliflower with the Tom Tom seasoning. Candyce had tge rp's chicken with the black beans and rice. I had the blackened fish wrap. Both were very good. Good service, good interior and good selection. Some place new and to remember for later. Very good

Fantastic!! Hubby & I had dinner after a very long day of travel. Food was great, service even better! I got fried clam strips, I am a born & raised New Englander & the ones I had here were some of the best I ever had
