The Rose Villa is over a hundred years old and filled with an ambiance that reflects the times. It is well decorated with portraits and beautiful stained glass panels. It even has an intimate bar that we entered through a hidden door disguised as a bookcase. The food was very well prepared, reasonably priced and served by a gracious friendly staff.I highly recommend it!

To start, Patrick the server was the best server I've ever had. Funny, nice, kind, attentive, happy, and much more.I went with my mom and a family friend. We all got different items. I had the white bean sauté. Very yummy and filling. While my mom had the lobster mac and cheese. She wished the lobster was not just on top but in the sauce too.The style of the restaurant was very unique and antique without being gaudy. I loved seeing the outdoor holiday decor. Will for sure come back.

While in Ormond Beach Bruce looked up places for dinner and Rosa Villa looked cool (old house built in 1901) and food rated well! When we arrived they sat us outside in a gazebo..very nice. Inside the rooms have tables and the top floor I was told was a bar?!? They start you with some hot, crisp biscuits/butter...so good! We ordered a wedge salad and it was huge and full of all the good stuff-blue cheese dressing, bacon, tomatoes etc. then we ordered jambalaya-big order, nicely spiced with another crisp, warm biscuits; I had to get a "to go" container! They had live guitar players-male/female- and they were great! Lovely evening!

Again for an event going to rosevilla. This time for my birthday. Reservations made and a request to the absinthe room. This place is so nice. Started off with thier biscuits and shaved Brussel sprouts with a Ceasars dressing. Very good. Candyce even tried it and she liked it. Main course was jambalaya for and candyce had the filet mignon. So tender she was just needed her butter knife. Both cources were great. Dessert was lava cake because of my birthday. A very nice night all tge way around.

This place has great potential and great food. I had the croque madame, which tasted savory and hit the spot. However, it falls short for service. We never had our water refilled, and the request for ketchup was ignored till the last minute. I had to get up and flag down the server for the check, who was absent since the food was served. Which is a shame, because the ambience otherwise is classy and quiet. Lovely place for bunch. Just expect bad service. Also reserve a table in advance, they will be rude about it if you don't.

Made dinner reservations for the day after Christmas. Was seated in the Presidential suite (aka Teddy Roosevelt room). Where we sat, the air was blowing heavily and we requested to relocate to one of the other tables located in the same room. Millie (Emilia) our server was more than welcoming, understanding, and accommodated for us to move to another table. This is my second time eating here and Millie was truly amazing from beginning to end. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu options and provided us with some great recommendations. Ordered a bottle of Hess and was sadly informed they were out of it. She recommended Bonaza and it was quite good! Also we were pleasantly surprised by the summer supper menu. Not sure when or how long this menu option is offered for but it's a great value. Food took a little long to arrive but when it did we all enjoyed our dishes and either cleared our plate or took home left overs. Needless to say Rose Villa is a great comfort food spot. I again, could rave about Millie and in the future I would request her as our server.

Rose Villa has that vintage look that instantly transports you to a different era. Is it an old hotel in Louisiana? A European chateau that once housed a lord and his family? Or maybe a classic restaurant? Be sure to check out their bathroom (and perhaps ignore the Amazon Echo speaker in one of the rooms) for the full vintage experience. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our reservation was hassle-free, and the host even seated us before our scheduled time. Our waiter took her time to explain the specials and offer recommendations from the regular menu. She also refilled our water glasses and checked on us several times throughout the meal. They started us off with a complimentary appetizer: two fresh biscuits and two halves of deviled eggs. It was the best biscuit I've ever eaten -- golden and slightly crisp on the outside, with a soft, fluffy, airy interior that melted in my mouth. I chose the Mediterranean branzino, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a delicious sauce that, though cream-based, was light and citrusy. The sautéed potatoes underneath were perfectly placed -- I usually have to move the fish on top of the side dish, but they did the work for me this time!On our way out, we strolled through the outdoor patio and were surprised by live guitar music and a charming gazebo (where you can dine if you'd like).I'm considering stopping by on a future trip to the north to try their brunch menu.

The Rose Villa's decor and two outdoor seating areas only add to your dining experience. Because it was my first time, my friend and I both received a deviled egg on the house. Our server showed up just at the right time to take our order. He made suggestions for both my meal and dessert, which I graciously accepted as I was having a difficult time choosing just one dish. I got the blackened salmon with Brussels sprout salad and the peanut butter chocolate cake. The salmon was grilled to perfection, breaking apart with minimal encouragement from my fork. The salad was served warm and the sauce was a tasty addition to both.I felt that the cake lacked peanut butter flavor and tasted sweeter than rich. My friend's lemon raspberry cake, which I think I would have preferred, was a perfect blend of sweet and tart.
