We visited Rosalia's Italian on a Friday night, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were seated immediately (love that on a busy evening!), and from there, it just got better. I was so busy catching up with an old friend that I completely forgot to take photos of the food--which should tell you just how engrossed I was. But trust me, it was delish.I had the Penne alla rossa, and let's just say I wanted to lick the plate (I didn't...this time). My friend ordered the Chicken Piccata with angel hair, and she kept saying how much she enjoyed it. We tried to order tiramisu for dessert, but they were out (cue dramatic music). That was the only letdown of the night, but really... we were too full to be too upset about it.The service was wonderful--our server was attentive, friendly, and had the timing down perfectly. Big bonus points for boxing up our leftovers for us! I love when restaurants do this; not only does it feel like a warm gesture, but it also saves me from inevitably spilling sauce on the table and likely on myself. Truly, everyone wins. The ambiance? Small, cozy, and homey. The music was at the perfect volume for conversations (a big win if you're catching up with someone) and had that classic Italian playlist vibe we all know and love. And the food? It's definitely on par with what you'd find at a great New York spot.So yes, 5 stars all the way! I'll definitely be back, and next time, I'll bring my phone out to snap some photos. Or, who knows, maybe I'll "forget" again and just dive straight into the Penne alla rossa

Had an early dinner here on a Friday night. Half of the place were full of older people and the other half a much younger crowd.I read somewhere that their Tiramisu Martini is a must try, and that's what we did, I asked the server if it was sweet and he said yes, so I requested for a less sweet and they accomplished it! The taste was really good! Our order comes with bread and a side of soup or salad. I got the minestrone soup, and hubby got the ranch salad. We both enjoyed the bread. For the main course, I got the Chicken Marsala while my husband ordered the Veal Piccata . We were very surprised with the portions when they arrived. As you can see from the pictures, the plate was not even entirely covered with the food. It would've been nice to have more pasta especially when compared to similar Italian restaurants. The Marsala was also bland, I think this is the 2nd time in my life I had to use the table salt in a restaurant lol! I saw a different plate with a larger portion from another table, I think it was the meatballs spaghetti. I might order that next time.

I was driving home from a morning of volunteering in Jacksonville and decided to stop here for lunch to try their pizza. The restaurant was pretty much empty around 1:45 pm so I had my choice of tables. The restaurant is nicely decorated with classic Italian music playing as well. The lunch menu offers about ten sandwiches, six specialty pizzas, calzones, make your own pizzas, and dessert. I opted for a supreme pizza. The toppings included pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, and red onions. The pizza was thin and crispy. It had a little taste of garlic, but I would have welcomed a little more. Service was good from my waitress, Jordan.

Would not recommend. Party of four, lunch. Our waiter was nice, but he messed up with one order. Ok not a big deal. Moved-on. All of us ordered wedding soup and that was mediocre in a vey little bowl, which is probably good because i think it would be left. Then everybody had a half of sandwich, each if us picked different. All of us were not happy, a lot of bread (not fresh) and not enough meat. Dry and tasteless. Perhaps their dinner menu is better, who knows, but i am not going to come back.

Horrendous Service, Disrespectful Management, and a Completely Disastrous Dining ExperienceIf I could give zero stars, I would. Our 7:00 PM reservation for a party of 15 turned into the worst dining experience I have ever had due to this restaurant's complete lack of organization, professionalism, and basic respect for customers. The lack of hospitality was shocking. Upon arrival, we were told our 7:00 PM reservation was not until 8:00 PM. Given the benefit of the doubt for the miscommunication, there is no excuse for the unprofessionalism that followed. After waiting over 35 minutes, my husband and I took our 87-year-old guest, who has Alzheimer's, to the bar when two seats became available.Earlier, a waitress had asked him to move from an unoccupied booth, which then remained empty for 45 minutes. Once at the bar, we asked for a drink menu, but neither the waitress nor the owner--who was attending the bar--ever followed up.Meanwhile, my friend, a mother of a 2-year-old and a 5-month-old, was told to wait outside in the cold instead of being offered indoor seating. Finally being seated at 7:50 PM--btw at a table that had been empty since our arrival!By 8:45 PM, we still had no food, no bread, and no updates. A member of our party had to go to another restaurant to bring back chips and salsa just so the kids wouldn't go hungry. Our food finally arrived at 9:20 PM--over two hours late--The food itself was beyond disappointing.During our mealtime the owner finally checked in, casually asking how everything was. When I expressed my disappointment, she blamed her loyal, long-standing customer of the wrong reservation time! Instead of apologizing for the poor service, she became defensive, blamed staffing issues, claimed she had been too busy at the bar (where we had also been ignored) to acknowledge the mismanagement, and even used COVID , staff breaks as an excuse! This was a deeply disappointing experience, marked by poor service, lack of care, and zero accountability!I don't anticipate anything other than a dismissive or defensive response from the owner, as her replies to previous negative reviews have consistently been unprofessional and passive-aggressive! Read the negative reviews and make your own assessment!

Valentine's Day special: "filet and stuffed shrimp." The waiter assured us that it was a 4 oz filet mignon. I ordered a medium rare filet. I received a 4 oz filet that was well done with the texture of round steak. I could not cut it with a knife! Rosalina would not talk to me and I gave the waiter my number so she could call me. I have not received a call.

This restaurant absolutely ruined our Valentine's Day. We have dined at and ordered from Rosalia's weekly for 2 years and to say we are greatly disgusted is an understatement. My family showed up to our 7pm reservation and were told it was not until 8. We made the reservation 2 months in advance and spoke to Rosalia about the reservation a couple weeks prior. The owner who knows exactly who we are had us standing in the lobby for an hour and didn't even have the decency to acknowledge us or apologize. Instead a waitress with curly hair in a pony tail asked my 87 YEAR OLD FATHER WITH ALZHEIMER'S to get up from an unoccupied booth that was then vacant and stayed vacant for an additional 45 minutes. Then the host asked me, my 2 year old and 5 month old to leave the lobby to stand in the cold when there is seating by the bathroom they could have offered to us. After waiting an hour we were finally seated at tables that were unoccupied for the hour we waited there. After being seated for another hour a member from my party had to go to the Mexican restaurant next door to get our kids chips because they were starving. We finally at 9:20pm received our food and shortly after Rosalia came over and asked how everything was. When we shared our frustrations she accused my mom who made the reservation of being a liar, immediately became defensive and used COVID as an excuse then walked away. After reading reviews on the restaurant tonight I can see I am not the only customers who have experienced being treated like this. Just read their responses to others reviews to get and idea on how they do business. Completely unprofessional. We are business owners ourselves and completely understand that running a business during a busy holiday is not easy and have compassion for that. It was not the wait or subpar food that was served that prompted this review but the way we were treated.

Service was slow and at times almost non existing. The server came back 3 times to ask what toppings we wanted on our pizza. The pizza came out a little slow; it was warm and fairly tasteless. Definitely not NYC like pizza. The antipasto was fair a little stingy on the meat and cheese, way too much lettuce and not enough balsamic. The server did not come back after pizza was brought to the table to check on us. I might consider going back and hope this was an off night.

Rosalia is super nice. She's the owner and remembers everyone. Dante is exactly the same. The food is so good. My go to is baked ziti. It's a simple dish but great, especially for a northerner who needs a nice meal that reminds me of my grandmothers. On Fridays and Saturdays they have a live musician. Tried the cannoli cake this time. Holy cannoli! It was delicious definitely worth trying.
