For me, this was a quintessential Florida local breakfast spot. Service was friendly, coffee was never ending and always hot. Love sitting outside under the oaks and Spanish moss. The jalapeño shrimp and grits were pretty great. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Great food, wonderful friendly staff and a cool vibe! We stayed in the area for a week on vacation from north Georgia. This was our most favorite restaurant we went to all week!!

We went to the Washington Oaks State Park and were looking for a lunch spot afterwards. We feel like we hit the jackpot. I ordered the Cuban sandwich at our waitresses' recommendation, and it was the best one I have ever had. My husband had the foil dog, and it was also the best hot dog he has ever had. They both came with homemade chips, which were also very good. The ambiance outside is very relaxed with music playing. The owner and staff are very friendly. We will return.

Still going strong and loving this neighborhood gem! We're so fortunate to have a restaurant that serves great breakfast and brunch! We have never been disappointed in any dish ordered here. The latest one I tried was the Spicy Jalapeno Shrimp and Grits. Succulent shrimp over creamy, slightly spicy grits. You can enjoy this without the spiciness overtaking the palate. Looking forward to trying another of their delicious offerings!

Dropped in for lunch with the fam. Inside and Outside seating. Absolute perfection. Fantastic omelet, out of this world Cuban sandwich & onion straws, the biggest slice of quiche ever, and the absolute best kids chicken fingers with fabulous fries.Server was helpful, patient and friendly. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.

Recently moved to the area, and we found this place for breakfast/lunch. They tell me it's homemade corned beef hash, and I can positively say it is outstanding! The wife loves her breakfast sandwich, and we've been back again. This is a really good place.

Super friendly waiters, host, and owner. We had six of us and everyone said their meals were fantastic. One said the Cuban sandwich was the best ever, one said the pastrami was great, excellent shrimp and grits, and my crab sandwich (no fillers) was the best. We all agree you have to come to Rodie's Place!

Wow, I happened to be driving through Palm Coast on my way home from St. Augustine and was hungry for brunch. Did a little search on yelp and followed the reviews to Rodie's Place. The guy next to me was eating a pretty delicious looking sandwich, which turned out to be a pastrami and jalapeño havarti sandwich. I was torn between that and the authentic Cuban and asked my server Christy for her recommendation. She steered me toward the Cuban, and since I was still feeling kind of breakfasty, I got a single pancake as well. The Cuban was the best I've had. So hot and juicy with the perfect amount of pickles and the homemade mustard sauce was the perfect ratio of whole grain mustard, mayo, and whatever else they used to make it perfect. I could only eat half and even enjoyed their house made chips (I never eat chips but these were delish)! The pancake was outstanding! I'm consistently disappointed by restaurant pancakes since I had the best pancakes ever at a little restaurant in Virginia, but these are good enough to order again! I wish I lived closer. Super cute place too!
