Ritz Dogs

This was a fine chili dog. Not the kind of thing you could eat in three bites holding it in one hand while riding a bicycle though. Dog had a lot going for it. I'm pretty sure the weenie had met a rabbi up north somewhere. It was all beef. Had a decent snap once bitten into and had a great flavor. It was hot off the grill. Bun was fresh and had a deep pocket which allows the chili to ride the bun well. Bermuda's were crisp, fresh and cold. The whole thing was a tad messy to eat. In a good Wray as onions flew off every bite and chili was generously applied. None of that is a bad thing unless you are riding your bike to a job interview. I enjoyed my dawg but could never eat two at one sitting. It's all fresh made to order. Attention to detail is outstanding. I wanted catsup down one side and one like of mustard down the other. That's exactly what I got. Smiles abound on both sides of the counter. Pretty good variety of other sandwiches on menu too. I saw a philly cheese walk by that looked inspired. Maybe I'll try that next visit. Good job guys!

Hot dog with cheese, onions and cole slaw. Or hot dog with sauerkraut. Or get a grilled cheese. Or get anything then thank me later!

Not a Philly cheesesteak. Other offerings look great, but as a Philly native I was sorely let down by the "Philly" cheesesteak. Meat would be okay but you do not, do NOT, serve it on a long hot dog bun. Get a dog/brat. Do not get a Philly steak unless you go to Philly.
