We were surprised to win a table at Rio courtesy of 106.5 fm. I was expecting to see Devon B there on the 1 and 2oos. Kudos to Rio for giving nice drinks and food we could sink our teeth into. Our waitress was super attentive to our needs since our table was reserved. Chicken wings, fish, and oxtails were exquisite. Oysters were lackluster and were disappointing. Drinks were flowing, but premium happy hours were only Hennessay, Grey goose, and Pateon. There was a disconnect with w106.5 and rio management .I was expecting to see Devon B in the house, Vijay of 106.5. We will be back.for.brunchRio is geared toward 40 and under. I really wanted to give this restaurant/lounge a higher rating, but after our experience, I would say a 3 is generous. My family decided to visit after we saw a popular Jacksonville restaurant couple post on Instagram. At this point, I'm convinced it was a paid promo and do not plan to trust that couples opinions anymore. When we arrived and explained we were a bigger group, they gave us 2 tables to sit at. One had a dirty table cloth that we asked to have switched. They took it away, and it took nearly 45 min to bring another one, so we were looking at an old plywood fold out table. After waiting nearly an hour to order the food because we were ignored while they must have been preparing for the night ahead, we finally got 1 water jug to split between 8 people, it only filled 4 of our plastic cups. We were also given plastic cutlery that really didn't cut it with the foods we ordered. After we ordered and paid (which I read in the reviews before showing up, and must be their policy so people can't leave while they wait nearly an hour for food), we waited another 45 min before the first people who ordered got their food. The food was good, and the only reason they are not at 2 starts for my review. I honestly am baffled by the whole experience since they have been around for over a year. I'm sure everyone working there has been to a restaurant and should know how they should operate. Their own website isn't even complete. I suggest if you want the to eat their you order togo. It's definitely more of a dive bar than a lounge and definitely not a restaurant. If you are just looking for a place to drink and smoke hookah with your friends, then I imagine you would have a different experience.

Stopped in here because we were staying at the adjoining hotel and the experience was amazing. Nisha was an amazing host and bartender, she made some great drinks and the food she recommendations we're on point. If you're in the area this is a must stop spot and be sure to see Nisha during the lunch happy hour 11-3.

My friend and I got there shortly after 6 and the music was already extremely loud. We had to stop who I think was the manager several times to get napkins for the table, waters and to point out who our server was. The service was beyond slow even before it got busy. The music seemed to get so loud that we couldn't hear what the other person was saying even though we were yelling across the table. The music was good with the exception of the DJ who kept talking and singing over the music. My friend and I ordered food at the same time, to go. She got hers and I had to wait an extra 40 mins for 10 wings. We would have left without the food, but you're required to pay at the time you order.We will not be back.

The oxtail rasta pasta is superb, great DJ on Saturdays...but table service could use some work. Admittedly it gets a bit crowded, but the waitress forgot items numerous times (box/check) and delayed my departure. Otherwise a great vibe.

The food is definitely good. I had a 10 piece wing two flavors. The problem was the service. The music was too loud could not really hear my order. The order came out incorrectly and the waitress seems to have an attitude when asked to correct the order.

I'm giving a totally unbiased opinion, I wanted this place to be what I pictured but I was totally disappointed to say the least!We had a party of 4 ( with 7:30pm reservations) we ended up being treated like walk ins .Table next to us left after being there for 40 minutes without being acknowledged ( they had reservations as well ).All ordered at the same time 3 of us got our order before the 4th person who simply ordered oysters ( which came out 45 minutes later and overcooked). Had to ask twice for the 4th person coke that was ordered before it was finally brought to the table . Let's not forget you have to pay for your food upfront as well as a mandatory tip , so you are bound to wait regardless because you have already paid ...Noticed the guy who always posting on IG , invited Keith Lee to visit on one of their posts, not sure if he's the owner or OR PR guy but please stop, Keith Lee would clown this place if he got the service me and my group got ...The food wasn't bad it was ok, the service was subpar . I would never recommend this place ....

this restaurant was a great choice. but before you go please make reservations. we did not but the hostess was still able to seat us. a lot of parking due to it being connected to a hotel. inside was not too big though but a vibe. servers very attentive but food took a while to come out. shrimp and wing platter, a dozen oysters, chicken rasta pasta, and 1 drink all for $70
