They were still setting the Astroturfing on the new front playground when we went a week ago, but the new playground in the back by the baseball field is pretty neat. I would like to add if you have little ones, the playground is fully fenced in ( as in the area lining the woods aren't fenced in ) The playground could use more shade and some water fountains, and more trash clean up, (as it seems no one knows how to clean up after themselves) but other than that it's a pretty neat little place! The path to the boardwalk is also lovely! My family enjoyed it!

We love the new playground equipment! Needs more shade over the play structures, but the rest of the park and trails have good tree coverage. It's a great park in Jacksonville to visit when it's cooler outside.

We've lived here almost 3 years and never knew this was so close to our home. We rode our bikes here and then discovered the paved trail that winds through the woods to a canoe launch. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to it because the walkway to the launch was closed for renovations. There are also baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts and a pretty large playground.

This is a great hidden neighborhood jem. It has baseball fields, soccer fields, 2 kids playground areas - small one up front with soccer fields and larger one in back by the baseball fields. There is a canoe/kayak ramp but it is much to far to carry one in to. They are building a new accessible launch on timuquana which you can put in at and make a stop down at floating dock in rivenhaver. There is a nice stretch of the Ortega River in between to explore. There are also paved trails back by the baseball fields which go through the wooded areas. There is even a second trail if you cross over the utility easement off The first paved trail. Also 2 tennis courts next to trail entrances. We love to run our dogs in the wooded trail which is shaded.

This is less of a park and more of a couple of soccer fields with a mini park attached. There is a pavilion (2 sides) to rent (online) for picnics and parties, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. If you rent one, you are constantly under bombardment from soccer folks trying to take tables over to the field. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. The children's playground has different age levels of equipment which is nice. The actual nature park seems to be pleasant but was overrun (as well as the playground) by young bored family members of soccer players. All in all, I'm rather underwhelmed by it all.

To call for a permit for softball field. The phone number on the fence is not working and the number 904 779-7462 just keep ringing. This set is very missed leading to the public. The city need to fix this issues ASAP.

This park is pretty close to my house and has pretty much everything you would look for in a park. Soccer field, baseball field, football field, children's play area, nature trail and even an area you can set up BBQ. Nature walk is primary what I come here for and it's actually a pretty good distance from start to finish. If you plan on bringing your pet to go on a nature walk be prepared to pick some ticks if they get into the bushes while walking. Other then that its a good park.

Park was ok. Trails were ok but boardwalk walking to the river needed some repairs. The bridge going to the small pier was also falling apart. The length was good but the place seemed sketchy at times to me. I wouldn't want to be here by myself very long.

The riverfront boardwalk is closed. Disappointing to find this after a long walk from parking.
