After seeing many good reviews we decided to give it a try. Well worth a go. We got a hamburger which was very good. Thick but cooked right. The Cuban sandwich was top notch with a lot of meat. Two meals from the Cuban. Fries were good ole fashioned fries with salt, a bit crunching which was nice. Coleslaw was good, finely chopped not stringy but on the low end of portions. They have a few other dishes we are wanting to try and will definitely be back. Price was on par for most similar restaurants but with the main dish above par on size or portion. Service was great and very attentive. Easy in and out parking with a plus being close to the beach and the nice cool breeze. Would have been a 5 star had not been for the sticky floor. Place was clean, clean tables but noticed the whole floor being sticky. Plenty of seating and will be a regular stop for us from now on.

I was actually thumbing thru local menus and came across this joint and said "ooooh!" Why? They have whole belly Ipswich clams! In Daytona Beach, in a hotdog joint! I continued perusing and saw they had all sorts of interesting stuff...the sky's the limit for it being a weenie joint. So my dear Mainer Queen Bee opted in for the half pound basket of clams, which includes slaw and fries. I myself love whole bellies, but I don't wanna get the same thing. So what did I get? 10 oz. charburger. I opted for slaw as my side; I've eaten enough fries for awhile. Who ever serves a 10 oz. burger anymore? I asked for it cooked medium by the patient and helpful Brian, who seems to wear more than one hat around here. He takes orders, runs the register, and seemingly does anything and everything for who appears to be the lady owner of this spot.So the clams were absolutely fantastic! Nice, briny and just the right amount of crisp. Good ratio of cornmeal to flour to clam also; fries are fries. Meh: standard straight cut from off the Sysco truck. Slaw was pretty decent, but I do expect it came outta the ol' Sysco catalogue too. Onto the burger: it was cooked a lil to the rare side of medium, but acceptable. I say this because that bugger was well over an inch thick! It coulda used a lil seasoning, TBH. I just added a good dose of black pepper and a tiny shake of salt; voila. Just for idle curiosity, I also got a chili dog (aka Coney) to go. There's a choice between Flint or Detroit style chili. I chose the Flint because it appealed to me just a bit more; Brian also recommended it. Flint is drier and meatier, with a heavy dose of cumin as many chili recipes have. It's also made with heart meat rather than Detroit style which is a bit saucier and the sweeter aftertaste of nutmeg....a nice tribute to all the Greeks who started this kinda business over 100 years ago in the Motor City. It's a Michigan brand of dog (Koegel) so of course it isn't as flavorful as a NYC dog, but it was a decent quality dog in a nice soft (steamed?) bun. As we finished up, the owner came by and told us all about how she and her husband got into the restaurant biz, and really made us feel welcome there. They've been in this location for just over a year (2 more across the river in Port Orange before that), and I can do no less than thank her and her team for providing a decent meal and pretty damn fine value! I truly wish these folks nothing but the best of luck. They're also venturing into a food truck in the near future to get their brand out and about. So keep a good lookout in the next few months at all the local festivals. There may be a Riley's on the Road coming to a happening or shindig near you! They really seem like they're in their happy place with this business! It's very laid back and mellow in there, with a homey fast food kinda feel, but definitely no kings, castles, clowns or potentates to gum it all up. Their early bird specials are fantastic too, and each day provides its own group of specials beyond even THAT!Finally, they offer a 15% discount to all active duty and military veterans for everything but specials. So whenever you're looking for a quick, simple down home meal for lunch or dinner, go no further than here. They have so much variety and so many specials. It'll take you a long while to go thru everything on the menu and not encounter the same thing twice.

Really good service and I enjoyed my bison wagyu boar burger. Mine was the most expensive burger on the menu at $17.99 - I basically got it because I was intrigued by the idea of combining those meats. It was really good but I probably could've gotten a normal burger for like $13-$14 and it would've been similar. The fries were also delicious

If you are ever in Daytona, check out Riley's Coney House for a really good Southern Dog.The Coney menu has several varities including a Carolina Dog with mustard, chili, onions, and saw. Choice of chili - one from Flint Michigan (shipped on dry ice), and a Detroit style from Sysco Foods. Dogs are also from Michigan - a flavorful, all beef, hot dog. Bun was not toasted. This is the best dog I have had outside NC.They also have great, 10 oz burgers with all the trimmings, and a great variety of sandwiches. The fries are very good. Hot and crispy the way fries should be.They also serve beer and soft drinks. Service is excellent. Friendly staff. Has a half-dozen TV's for a Sunday football gane. Riley's has only been open four months, but has the feel of a place that's been there forever. We recommend Riley's if you are in Daytona Beach.

I was in the mood for my cheap guilty pleasure today and that led me to this second establishment. I paid six dollars for this hotdog. This business has two different types of chili. The one that I got was Michigan style. Where the chili lacked in a bit of flavor, the hotdog itself totally made up for it. It was a skinny hotdog, but it had a wonderful snap when you bit into it so it gave a different texture as a whole. The hotdog was very good better than the other that I had today. It also looked more like the "messy" chili dog that I prefer. The service was great. The restaurant from what I saw look very nice they do have a sit down option as well. Overall I would 100% return and get another hotdog because it was delicious.

Decided to stop here for dinner on the first night of our November vacation in Daytona Beach. The place was clean and the service excellent. I should say they were running with one server, who may have been pregnant and one cook, who was also the manager on duty. I ordered the open-faced pot roast, which was mediocre at best and the gravy, which I asked for on the side came out cold. My wife ordered a Cowboy Up burger, which was tasty, but came out less than the ordered medium. My side of mac and cheese turned out okay, but the Cole slaw seemed minced and without flavor. They did however offer a veteran's discount, which was a plus. So, if you are in the mood for great service and mediocre food, by all means, stop on by.

Riley's is the best place for coney islands. Detroit style or Flint Michigan style coney islands! We stopped there on our annual trip to Daytona Bike Week and are never disappointed. Owner came out to talk to us and we had a great conversation! We left with full tummies and a t-shirt!

Oh my goodness! This restaurant is simply named Reileys Coney House, but the name is misleading. YES you can get GREAT tasting hot dogs, but that's only the tip of the iceberg!Menu options range from dogs to comfort food, mild to wild! I enjoy the friendly staff, the latest I met was Marni. She is very pleasant and positive, keeping customers updated with orders, refills are quick, and she is very sharp and funny, resulting in looking forward to the next visit. The atmosphere is like a small to medium cafe, comfortable and a place to talk, or dine in fast for lunch.
