Romell is my go-to guy in terms of taking care of my hair. He knows his craft and he is best at it. You just tell him what you want or what style you want to achieve and he knows what to do and perfectly fit into your liking.He is very accommodating, too. However, you better call to reserve your spot because he is very busy.Great place/salon. Very cozy, comfortable, and great music in the background.He never disappoints.

Super personable. Super skilled. Listens to what you want and has the ability to deliver. Believe me when I say I'm SUPER picky about my haircuts. I'd honestly rather destroy my hair at home on my own than go to a stylist I don't like, so I'm super grateful I found Riah Salon and Romell as soon as I moved to Jacksonville!!

I've been coming here for years, Romell's (hairstylist) awesome. He was very reassuring and he made me feel at ease the first time he cut my hair. He's very down to earth even with all his accomplishments. He'll listen to your requests and will inform you he he has any concerns about the hair. I always recommend him to anyone that's looking for a hairstylist. First class treatment every time!

When you find a hair stylist that makes your hair look like a mane from an edgy Vogue magazine, you should remain faithful. I've strayed because my crazy busy schedule usually means I'm lucky to squeeze in a cut with whoever & whenever I can. Each time I've done this, I regret that the person was not Romell because my hair was never quite right. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't terrific either. The point is, Romell books up quickly so be patient, call early and plan accordingly. He is great about sorting through the photos of hair I'd like to have and customizing the cut to my hair texture, length and level of commitment. Romell is kind about the reality check when I get too far out there and yet strives to give me daily glamour that I can maintain. In short, Riah is worth the wait and I'm done trying out the convenient imposter.

I have been a client at Riah Salon since 2005. This is the only salon I will come for hair maintenance and color! Romell and Tita are sweet, amazing stylist. Their customer service is impeccable. The salon is a modern styled yet relaxing set up with a great selection of music. As long as I live in Jacksonville I will never go anywhere else. If you haven't been here, you must try this salon. The artists are fabulous!!!

Romell has got to be the best hair stylist in Jacksonville. Amazing color with hi lights and cut for an affordable price! Must make an appointment weeks in advance because he is always booked but definitely worth the wait. Great cut and color, fun salon and always great music! Romell's mother also cuts hair, can't go wrong here!

Well when I asked for an appointment someone answered right away but our sschedules conflicted and instead of referring me to someone else this person was comfortable saying maybe I should go somewhere else, not good business sense. What do you think?
