Valentine's Day dinner tonight at Medure was truly exceptional! We dined with our friends visiting from CT, who always love coming here. The very expansive pre-fixed menu assured that everyone had the perfect choice for every course. Our server, Kat was wonderful, always popping in when needed, but never a feeling of being rushed. Among our table we had tenderloin tartare, lobster, burrata as appetizers. The pork belly 2nd course was so tender & delicious, very unique. I loved my sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, but I could not finish it all! Every course was very generous. But the desserts! Red velvet soufflé and chocolate trifle were lovely, but the mascarpone and vanilla mouse was a beautiful treat for Valentines Day. The Manager was so attentive, checking in to make sure we were well taken care of. IMO, Restaurant Medure is the best restaurant in North FL.

This place is truly one of those fine dining experiences you don't get often, like only for special occasions. Pro tip: if you're going for dinner, the reserved parking is only there until 5, then you can park anywhere. To start with the food we ordered the escargot, beef carpaccio, and tuna tartare. And they were absolutely scrumptious! All of it. I would have to say my favorite was the tuna. They give you crunchy chips to put the tuna on, and they refill if you run out. It's definitely a must order. However, I would say that if you're going with a larger group of people, the beef carpaccio would be a bit harder to share just due to the nature of it and the egg on top. It's hard to share a runny egg. The escargot as expected takes the favor of whatever it's cooked with and the mushroom was heavily showcased in this dish. It's very creamy too, similar to a cream of mushroom soup. They also come with complimentary bread. It's a bit on the salty side for my liking, but it was very flavorful. As for the main fish I got the beef tenderloin with an extra fois gras. I know it's not necessarily the most ethical food, but it was my first time trying it. It wasn't as overly heavy as I thought it would be. It was simply a liver. The potatoes were very well season with a lot of garlic, but like the bread, I think they tend to over salt the carbohydrates, as commented on my someone at my table who ordered a pasta. I'm not sure if it was the choice of the cut of beef, but it was very stringy and caught in my teeth. It tasted fine, but I can't say I was able to finish it, so I decided to take it home and make it into a stew instead. Personally, I think it would be better off stewed than served alone, but it could be because I have the taste buds of a child, which would be a fair assessment. The service was wonderful, as you would expect for a restaurant like this. The water was always topped off. We ordered a wine and they would come by periodically to also top off glasses. It was a wonderful experience. If you're a bit confused or indecisive about wines, they have a sommelier on staff that is here to help you make that decision. My only comment is that this is a place that you would need to get an appetizer, since the food takes such a long time. But, hey, it's fresh! They did mess up one of the ordered and my friend got a complimentary salad so she didn't have to just watch all of us eat awkwardly, so that was kind of them. Overall, no comments. Finally, since we were a group of 9, there is this small circular space before the main dining space meant to accommodate reservations for larger parties. It has a cool echoing effect for the music that piped in and painted a very deep sensual purple. I'm a big fan of the color pallete of this place. The music is your typical smooth jazz, nothing with words/lyrics, to maintain the ambiance of the place. I think the place I would compare this to is M brothers at the Mayo Clinic. I think it's run by the same family. The food her FAR SURPASSES the food at M brothers. And it was a wonderful fmdining experience. Personally, I would stay away from the beef dishes and order fish instead at both of these establishments. Food is a bit on the salty side, but very flavorful.

Excellent food and fantastic service. All employees from the hostess to the bus girl to the waiter were friendly and attentive. The waiter had excellent recommendations for the entree and a red by the glass. I can especially recommend the Grilled Lamb Loin, cooked perfectly as requested at medium. For appetizers I had the Mayport Poached Shrimp in a Soba Style Salad and the Foie Gras. I would go back just for the shrimp. The accompanying bread and butter were also excellent. Highly recommended.

Always great food and service. Now come ready with your valet, but the quality is well worth it and the ambiance could not be better.

Restaurant Medure is our go to when celebrating birthdays and anniversaries! Medure is as close to fine dining in Jacksonville that you'll get and worth every penny. The atmosphere is romantic with dim lighting, white table clothes and attentive staff. The food is always consistent and delicious. This time I had the Maine Lobster gnocchi and my bf had the Radiatori Pasta with Tenderloin tips. Both were delicious. One favorite that we hope NEVER leave the menu is the Escargot. Ask for extra bread to soak up the amazing sauce. Not everyone at our table likes escargot but every one sure loves that sauce! Dessert is typically ordered before you've finished your entree, specially if you want a soufflé. They have both a Grand Marnier Soufflé and a soufflé of the evening. No matter which you choose, I haven't had a flavor I haven't liked. If you're looking to celebrate anything consider Medure. You won't regret it.

Wonderful ambiance and excellent personable service. The craft cocktails were delicious and the bread service before the meal was a tasty bonus. We will be back

Just had a wonderful birthday dinner at Medure's. Sharon had the Wagu Short Ribs and I had the Sea-Bass Francaise. In a word, they were both SPECTACULAR. Our waiter, Paulo, was professional, attentive and friendly. He gave us good input on menu items including wine selections and we weren't disappointed. The soufflé we had for dessert topped off our meal in the crisply modern ambiance. I give Restaurant Medure's an unqualified positive recommendation.

A Michelin-quality experience! My husband and I love to eat out - great food, wine, and cocktails are a passion and joy we love sharing. We've eaten at a few Michelin-rated restaurants and Medure stands shoulder-to-shoulder with all of them! The last four times we've been to Medure, we've talked about the food for days! Everything from the delicious, creative appetizers to the gorgeous desserts (including homemade ice cream), there is so much to love. Beautiful flavor profiles, adventurous pairings of rustic spices, to sweet fruits; the menu is full of intoxicating savory and complex, yet comforting choices. But, what really made me hurry to write this review is the staff. From the Chef to the servers to the bartender, everyone cared deeply about the diner's experience - you can tell this team cares about what they do and how they do it. If you haven't been to Medure in awhile, it's definitely time to go back - a diner's delight and more! I'm so proud we have food like this in Jacksonville! I would give you a suggestion on what to order, but you don't need it - everything is amazing...

We were there on a Friday night w a 7:30 reservation. Busy time. Our waiter was in a rush all night. Maybe they were short staffed. Empty water glasses. Empty wine glass. The food was good, not great. The table next to us had to ask for wine and the guy literally waved his arms to get someone's attention. Really disappointing.

This is one of the best restaurants in Florida, certainly the best in Ponte Vedra. The food is outstanding, and so are the wines. Can't wait to eat there again next Christmas. Almost makes us want to leave NYC. (not really, but you get the idea!)
