Relish

Single tasty with cheese is my go-to order. Always amazing. The fries can sometimes be a little bit too salty but otherwise, this is always an excellent meal.

**Despite what Yelp says, this location is OPEN**There are a couple Relish locations across Gainesville but I gave the one downtown a try on a Saturday afternoon. At Relish you build-your-own-burger after choosing how many patties and if you want to pay for extras like bacon, cheese, fried egg, avocado, etc. Then you get to add whatever toppings you want for free: tomatoes, pickles, mushrooms, red onions, pineapple, jalapeños, black olives, all kinds of seasonings, plus so many more. I added fries and a fountain drink to my single patty without extras and it totaled $12.70. Not a horrible price. The burger was juicy and the fries were perfectly crispy. A pretty solid burger overall.

Excellent food and service. Friendly vibes. I had a crispy chicken sandwich, CBR fries, and a hand spin cookies and cream milk shake. You can choose the toppings on your burger. Everything came out fresh! The milk shake is probably the best in the city.

Tuesday is my favorite days to go because there is a $6.95 Burger, Fries and Drink deal I love that most of the toppings are free and you get to choose all you want! The assembly line burger process helps keep service fast and I've never had an issue getting an amazing burger going with the awesome team behind the grill. While your burger is freshly prepped, you get your choice of sauces and fresh veggie toppings. I'm prone to adding Bacon and Egg to my burger and it's only about $2 to add both!Pair your burger with their crispy fries and an ice-cold Soda or Beer, and you've got a great meal!!!

Visiting from out of town, I decided to try Relish after reading reviews calling it the best burger in town. The staff was kind and hardworking, but the food didn't live up to the hype.I got a single burger, CBR fries, and a Reese's shake. The burger was just okay, and I found it ridiculous that cheese cost an extra $1. The fries were soggy and overly salty, but the shake was the saving grace--really good, though a bit runny.For $22, I expected much more. The meal was filling, but not worth the premium price. I'd rather have gone to Harry's for a burger, fries, and a beer at the same cost.

Food is pretty good, but the hours seem to be up to the discretion of the staff. Hours posted online are different from the hours shown on the door which are different from the actual hours. The hours on the door at the downtown location are apparently actually for the midtown location and are not accurate. One time I tried to go in at 11:45 pm on a Saturday and they told us they were only open until 11 on non game days and 1 am on game days (the door says they are open until 2:30 am every Saturday). But I know that I have been in there later than 11 on other non game days. So you may or may not be able to get food depending on if they feel like staying open that night.

Very rude service and they choose to insult me on the way out because i had to lock and unlock my bike before i could leave due to the city removing the bike racks. I guess everyone who rides a bike there needs to know they are to blame for getting in their ways. Won't ever be going back to this trashy run place.

The food is great. Definitely the best burger in Gainsville. The service is even better, people are super friendly and helpful. Ambience is immaculate, always clean, always good people around, and always good music. Is a vibe.

I ordered fries and a shake for pick up. The shake was sold out. I understand that these things happen. I was told that I would receive a refund for the missing shake but I still have not received the refund (purchase was made the 27th of January.) I've had to file a chargeback with my credit card. The fries were burnt and not worth the price but I wouldn't publicly complain if they had just given me back the money that I spent on an item that they didn't give me.
