Hawaii roll wasn't that great. Mango and angel rolls were the best ones on this spread.

Rainbow Sushi is a great spot for all-you-can-eat sushi, especially if you're looking for variety. The sashimi was fresh but sliced very thin, and the selection was a bit limited compared to other places. However, the sushi rolls were nicely portioned without being overwhelmed by rice. Each roll comes with 4 pieces, which makes it easy to try a little bit of everything. The kitchen items were amazing, with the shrimp tempura being the highlight of the meal. Hibachi is always a go-to for me, but the steak was a bit overcooked, which was slightly disappointing. The restaurant was packed, but it was still kept clean, which is impressive. That said, they had a recurring issue with orders: some items didn't make it to our table, or we received food meant for another table. This happened multiple times throughout the night. Since it's all-you-can-eat, it wasn't a huge deal, but it was a little frustrating to miss out on what I ordered. The receipt showed they put the orders in correctly, but the food just didn't always make it to the table.Despite the reasonable wait times considering how busy they were, the staff was clearly overwhelmed. The ambiance is nice, with a standout geisha graffiti wall that adds a cool vibe to the space.Overall, it's a solid choice to satisfy a sushi craving. It's better for those who like trying a variety of rolls without being overwhelmed by rice, but they could improve the order accuracy and execution.

Calling my sushi connoisseurs! This restaurant is a great AYCE sushi option! During lunch hours, it's $15.99 which I felt was reasonable. All of the sushi we recieved was amazing and we also enjoyed a few of their appetizers: steak fried rice, vegetable tempura, fried krab cheese & spicy krab salad. I especially liked the fried krab cheese as it's something I haven't had before. Very clean and quiet atmosphere. A great date spot.

For an AYCE sushi place, it surprised me with how good the food is. The food arrived fairly quickly and the food I ordered was great, especially the Mango Roll. Would definitely recommend this place.

They have a decent All You Can Eat lunch menu. It wasn't too busy but we went right when they opened at 11. When you are seated they tale your drink order and you have the menu on the table along with papers to write down your orders. The waiters walk around and collect the orders quickly. The food comes out quickly as well. Our son lpves their clear soup, noodles, and habachi steak. I really enjoyed all of the cooked rolls (being pregnant it gets my "sushi fix" out). My husband went hard on all the raw sushi and was impressed at the freshness and quality for an AYCE. Some of the other places we have been to that is AYCE seem to be rushed, and have small tables, but Rainbow was spacious with booth and table options. We have gone twice now and would for sure reccommend it if your in the area.

Great cheap all you can eat sushi!Taste: 3/5, Value 4/5, Service 4/5We went for lunch on a weekday which was $15.99 per person ($16.99 for weekend lunch). There is a good variety of sushi and kitchen options to order. Server was attentive and took our ordering sheets and brought food out quickly. We were a little disappointed that there was no unagi options (although at this price point it makes sense). The salmon nigiri was a little chewy and not that flavorful. Our favorite rolls were the mountain and amazing tuna rolls. The tempura rolls were a little over fried and hard. The chicken was pretty tender and marinated well. Overall decent choice for a cheap all you can eat option, but the quality of sushi is just okay.

This is my favorite AYCE sushi in Jacksonville. Lunch is easy and dinner has both menu options that are awesome. With the higher end dinner the only things I personally pull from are the seaweed salad, sashimi, and I think one roll loaded with tuna and salmon. Even going with the regular dinner menu you get a great bang for your buck. I miss the one on third street so so much. This is just as good just farther from home.

Came here for the AYCE lunch. It was average at best. The gyoza were pretty bad and stuffed mostly with vegetables. The Shumai were these tiny deep fried bites which in no resemble the real thing. The shrimp tempura was surprisingly authentic however. When it came to the sushi nigiri, the tuna was watery and flavorless. The one bright spot was the tilapia which they called white fish. It was tender and flavorful. They also serve escolar which I don't see many sushi places do as it can cause stomach distress. The specialty rolls like the shrimp tempura roll were flavorful and a nice addition to the meal though. I'd say it's a good place to try if you like more americanized sushi.
