Went there a few Saturday's ago and had an amazing time with friends.After having a great meal at Hoptingers we decided to step next door where the ambiance was fun and the drinks were on point. So why 3/5 stars. Well honestly minus 2 for the way karaoke was ran. Now we are all about singing and having a good time while the drinks flowed and the spirits are up, but when you feel like you have to tip more to have a song played sooner than later it causes the fun to stop. Even for example, I was doing a duet and needed two mics to make it easier, was told by the host, two mics equals a tip. Um hello what??? Isn't this for the entertainment for customers rather than a continued donation to some ladies piggy bank. JMO you shouldn't have to be pressured to tip and I am sure if it stops people would be more gracious.

What a unique establishment. Stopped in for a cup for Joe and a quick video game (on tables). Lots to look at and explore throughout. Coffee was local brew and pretty robust. Loved the nostalgia such as a cigarette machine, which I haven't seen in decades. Live music is a thing here as well which is pretty cool.

By far my favorite dive in Jacksonville - not joking.Easy. Fun. Great prices. Chill. Cool events. Karaoke. Hookah. You name it - this place will keep you entertained.Just a heads up - they have beer, wine, cider, seltzers only - no liquor. But you don't even miss it, I promise.

You gotta come on Fridays when massapeal is djing . They're old school hip hop night. You get your dance on and the energy is amazing. The yellow shots are delish. The staff is so nice and they give great service.

About six months ago I went they hoping for another cool club. Nobody there sang for a half hour. Then I walked up to the lady host and said can you please put a song in for me. She abruptly said "no, use the app." i asked her to please help me with the my phone being a only 3 percent power left, please. Next answer was "for a tip." I left secretly immediately. I have since talked to others not pleased or searching for the "next" club ? Did she not know I am in connected with about 500 regulars because it was my first time there. Most of them thanked me in advance. It is a shame because I live 10 minutes away.

Rain Dogs' staff is absolutely wonderful. All very kind and sweet and attentive. The room is laid out sort of shotgun style with booths to sit in as well as a few high tops and bar seating. There are outdoor tables out front as well.

I can't comment on the quality of service at this place, but I do know that my girlfriend came here in October 2020 and she was likely drugged on the premises. Curiously, the owner of this bar didn't get back to her to review the security footage until after it was too late to recover.

Pretty awesome place with lots of cool people and things to do. I've been several times but this is the first time I went for Poetry Night. Comfortable setting and fresh brews. Chill environment-and BONUS-there's art everywhere! Definitely a 5 Points/Riverside staple. Go check it out!

Rain Dogs is the place to be for a local punk show! Love that they offer live music and have specific nights for karaoke as well. Staff is great, definitely quick service. Don't miss out on the boiled peanuts
