Pusser's Bar and Grille

I went with my friends during new years eve. I made a reservation in advance through Resy and I was able to add my friends later on over the phone. Parking was pretty filled due to the holidays, but we were able to valet park for free at the restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated outside in the back downstairs. Our waitress came and asked for our drink. I wanted the mojito, and was asked for a flavor. Watermelon sounded good, so I went with that. It was a refreshing drink, but not really strong enough. However for ten bucks, I had no complaints. For dinner, there was a special menu for the holiday, and the regular menu wasn't offered. I wanted the stuffed chicken, but it was sold out. So was the salmon, but instead, the cobia was offered as the fish, which I took (28 dollars). My friends ordered the salad and appetizers instead. My friends salad came first, which they enjoyed. I waited a long time for the fish, thinking that they may have forgotten it. It took over half hour, and after mentioning to the waitress, she checked up on it. Luckily it came a bit later. It was worth the wait. The fish was flaky and had a nice flavor from the sauces. The vegetables were steamed nicely, and I think the rice had a coconut flavor. My friends' appetizer came at the same time with the fish, and they enjoyed the fried shrimp they ordered.The service was friendly, but had some off moments. We did wait quite a while for our entree and appetizer, that we had to ask for updates. Utensils were missing when we got our food, and we had to ask multiple times before getting it. It was forgivable since it was new years eve and the food was good. Since we ate outdoors, I didn't see the indoor dining area. However, there was ample space outdoors. Though, we were the only ones seated downstairs as the others sat upstairs for the live music. We were not offered to sit upstairs, but it was ok since we were talking to each other. The waterfall and fountain from the pond added some ambiance. The live music was mostly oldies rock, which we were still able to hear.Even though the service was a bit off and we missed the live music, the good food made up for it. I really enjoyed the cobia and my friends enjoyed the salad and shrimp. I would have ordered the rum cake for dessert, but I think the kitchen would have been too busy and we would have waited even longer for that. Next time, I would request being near the live music to enjoy as well. However for good Caribbean cuisine in the Sawgrass and Ponte Vedre area, I can recommend Pussers.

Food was incredible as always! I had the Bloody Mary to drink and a blood orange margarita that was so good! The fish and chips are heavenly! Clemson club enjoyed our time as always and had a great waiter! The small private room is perfect for groups, though more than 1 tv would be perfect

Amazing experience. The complimentary parking is so convenient and the guys were super friendly. The location is on the water creating the perfect ambiance for dining. Our server was such a sweetheart and the food was delicious. One taste of the seafood dip and everyone began to order the same appetizer. It was just that good. The portions are large!!! The drinks are good too. I really loved myNight out at Pusser's.

Fridays mission was to find fish tacos. This was one of the top restaurants to pop up with that search. We were staying at Sawgrass Marriott so this was the perfect location. I heard many other guests actually walked over, but it was hot and muggy so we drove. They had complimentary valet parking, but there were also guests sports around that we used. We walked in and were sat down right away. It was pretty busy, but it was a Friday evening. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. My fiance wasn't too sure about the pimento cheese and bacon jam, but I was in love with it. So good!For our meals, I had mahi fish tacos and he had fish and chips. His portion of fish and chips was huge. We took a good amount of that home. The fish tacos were good. It was only my second time trying fish tacos, so I didn't have much to compare to. Their special dessert that night was an apple crisp. Also huge portions and was easily split between the two of us. First time trying a "pain killer". Definitely recommend using the straw and not sipping the nutmeg on top! But came with a mug to take home!Server was friendly. Restaurant was busy, but not too loud. Food was good.

My recent visit to Pusser's Bar & Grille was a delightful experience. The food was pretty good, with highlights including the flavorful crab dip and the baked oysters. However, the oysters could have been fresher, as they arrived semi-cold. Despite this, the overall taste was enjoyable.The service was exceptional, with our waiter being both kind and light-hearted, adding a pleasant touch to our meal. One of the best parts of the evening was the live music, which we enjoyed while sitting by the waterfront, complete with a charming fountain display.The star of the show was undoubtedly the famous Rum Painkiller. This drink was truly delicious and brought back memories of being at home in the West Indies. It was a perfect blend of flavors and definitely worth trying.For first-time visitors or anyone looking to enjoy some good drinks and okay food, Pusser's Bar & Grille is a great choice. It's a unique spot, and not every day do you come across a Pusser's Restaurant. Give it a try for a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.

The food was delicious . Firecracker shrimp as an appetizer, I had the salmon my boyfriend had fish and chips . Our server Ben was good, very friendly and could have possibly been more attentive. We had to ask another server to bring ketchup, not a huge deal but ...Ambiance is real nice inside with a view of the water. Let's get to my complaint of the drinks ... awful! I ordered the rum harvest cocktail and it tasted like WHISKEY not rum . Look at the difference in color in the picture. I sent it back and couldn't drink it. Then I ordered a bahama mama and the SAME thing. It tasted like whiskey! So disappointing. The manager came over, apologized and said he would take both drinks off the bill. Well of course since I didn't drink them ‍ We were told the bartender worked a double and came in with no sleep - poor excuse if you ask me.

SERVICE / AMBIANCE: We walked in around 4PM on a Friday and were sat right away. We were given the lunch menu so I guess they were still serving lunch. FOOD: I ordered the Sangria which was very refreshing and would recommend. We ordered the Buffalo Wings as an appetizer. I didn't quite like these as the flavor was different than a typical Buffalo flavor. Sadly, my husband got a bloody wing and we were done eating the appetizer after that... My husband ordered the Lobster Roll with a side of Bay Chips. He loved it so much he ate his entire plate. Needless to say, he would recommend this dish. I ordered the Smashburger with fries. I asked for no pickle or onion and still got the pickle and onion on my burger. The Smashburger wasn't anything special in general and was quite thick for a Smashburger patty. The fries were tasty however.

Great ginger dressing on my salad. The seafood pasta was fresh and had good flavor. Loved they had their Pain Kilker the original Rum from the drink in the British Virgin Islands. They ask you if you want a 2-4 level based on the number of shots in the drink. My #2 was strong. Great service for are large group and ok beer selection but go for the Pain Killers.

Worst service since we arrived in PVB 6 weeks ago. Will not return! Made resy for SB Sunday mid afternoon. Hostess sat us and server didn't come to our table for 15 minutes. When she walked up to our table she noted they were closing early so staff could get out for SB so if we wanted food we needed to order now. Neither hostess or rest noted this. We ordered two drinks and never saw our server again. Waited 20 minutes for our bill after I asked another server for the bill and finally got up to leave-server said oh sorry I was grabbing something for someone else. Finally 30 minutes from when I asked for the bill he handed it to me. No excuse for service like this. So many other great PVB options.
