Two couples and must have reservations as the place was packed!! Made it for early bird specials that included a beer or glass of wine.. very reasonably priced, delicious entrees and our waitress from Lithuania was the best.. we all loved our food and took leftovers home for another day to enjoy!! The atmosphere was perfect with touches of Italy scattered in the walls and soft background music playing.

I am SO glad Poppy's brought back lunch at the Ponte Vedra location. My personal favorite entree is the build your own pasta, but the show stopper is the Boursin Bruschetta! Their cute authentic Italian ambiance and great service only are the icing on the cake for a great experience!

While driving between Daytona and Jacksonville, we wanted Italian food for lunch. We found Poppy's on of A1A. What a great find. A yummy aroma hits you as you walk through the front door. We were greeted with a smiling staff person and seated in a nice booth. The restaurant has a cozy and warm feeling with Italian decor. The staff is friendly, have great menu knowledge and efficient quick service. My husband had the spaghetti carbonara which he said reminds him of Italy. I have linguini primavera in Olive oil and garlic with fresh veggies. Both were fabulously delicious and the garlic butter Italian bread was perfect. Find them online and go give them a try ... you'll love everything about your experience there.

This is fine Italian dining. I loved the place. I had the chicken Alfredo Fettuccine, soup, bread and butter. Everything was so delicious! My co-Worker, Brenda told me about this place and it was on my bucket list of places to go. So, I had planned to come here after my visit at Millie's for. Yelp event. Well guess what?! Poppy's was next door to Millie's. Too funny. So, I walked over after the ice cream nachos. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Food was very good. My Server was very attentive. Brenda told me about the "Early Bird Special", so I had that. It was like a lunch portion. It was still a huge amount of great Italian food. I ate about three bites and I was full. So, my Waitress was happy to box it up for me. I am looking forward to dining here again soon.

Made a reservation for a birthday dinner with our family and it's was a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The service was wonderful, we were able to take our time and enjoy every course. The ambiance was good but not as fancy as I expected.The burrata board to start was perfect to share along with the chop salad! Ask for some extra blue cheese, it was perfect especially with the onion straws. The fried mozzarella was great, according to the kids it was the best! The surf and turf with lobster and lamb was good but the lamb was a little overcooked and the lobster a little over. The pasta dishes were flavorful but I'm not sure if the pasta is made in house, our server wasn't 100% sure.We had a wonderful night celebrating, we'll definitely return soon!

Ordered To-Go for lunch. Giant portions! Ordered online and got there at the expected time. The food was ready and piping hot when I opened it. I'm a soup snob. So I didn't have a high expectation for the soup. But when I tasted the Italian Wedding Ball Soup I let out an audible "oh wow". It is delicious!!! Shrimp was cooked perfectly on the scampi and it was good, what you expect in a scampi. Loads of garlic. The squeeze of lemon they put in container made it pop. The staff were really friendly. Overall to go experience was great.

Had been traveling to Jacksonville for years... tried many different restaurants, but constantly heard about Poppy's. Finally tried Poppy's and WOW! We were not disappointed. There were 7 of us and we tried a little bit of everything. Food was solid, portions were ample and service was top-notch! Would recommend this to anyone wanting a great meal in the Ponte Vedra area
