Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Was feeling very lazy and decided to get some chicken from Popeyes instead of heading home and making dinner for myself. I ordered an eight piece meal with Mac+Cheese. Now, the Mac+Cheese was decent, and so were the biscuits, but the chicken? Oh boy... first, it was overdone or had been sitting in the warming tray a bit too long, because by the time I got it home (less than five minutes from Popeyes) the chicken was dry and had that "I've been sitting under a heat lamp for too long" feel to it. In addition, when you order an eight piece, you expect to get two pieces of each type (leg, thigh, breast, and wing)... nope, not this time... they decided to substitute a wing for one of the legs, which sucks because they basically did a substitution with one of the poorest pieces you can get in a collection like this. I was willing to give this location a second shot after my first attempt, as the first time I went it was shortly after they had opened and I figured they were still going through some opening pains at that point, but it has now been over a year since they opened, and it has not gotten any better (perhaps even worse). I will not be returning under my own volition.

Damn this Popeyes sucks! The chicken sandwich was awesome when it first came out. Now it's always a tiny piece of chewy chicken cold and just nasty. The workers seem like they don't care whatsoever and the drive-thru is a disaster. The last three times I've come here they were out of spicy chicken, lemonade, sweet heat sauce, etc. I normally just decided, because a spicy chicken breast as a snack or small meal, is the best thing on the menu to just order this and nothing else. Last time they were completely out of spicy chicken. The time before it was a 12 minute wait. How does this place seriously make enough profit to stay open? I'm so bummed how much the " chicken sandwich " has fallen. This is actually one of the best fast food places when it's done right but this place is a disaster and hopefully the current owner sells it to someone who gives a crap.

Deep breath... exhale slowly... on a Saturday at 2pm, there is no reason that employees should be outside in their phone, while patrons are waiting for 30 minutes for 3 tenders and a sandwich... c'mon! That doesn't include the lack of ice in the machine or the lack of anything to drink other than sweet/unsweet tea. I'm a very patient person, but I also know when I'm being taken advantage of. Also, if you say something will be ready in 2 minutes, 4 times, stop saying 2 minutes... say 10, say 15, but don't just keep pushing it off, be honest up front. My toddler would appreciate that. Otherwise, the store was clean, I'll give them that.

Wow, just wow. Full disclosure, I love Popeyes I really do. But the quality has dropped through the floor. Once unbeatable fried chicken is old, dry and cold. It could be this one location so I'll be heading back to the original on Main Street.

Decided to try the new popeye's over on the Northwest side of town. Drive-through was very very slow. Wife had asked for dark meat and only got like one piece of dark meat the rest was white my blackened chicken sandwich 1 of them looked like half the meat was taken off. Was not what I expected only reason I gave them a 4 instead of 3 was because there was only 3 ladies hustling in there to do their best.. Yet another business that is hurting due to the lack of people wanting to work or be employed.

I visit the Popeyes on 5625 Northwest 23rd Street Gainesville Florida like at 3:00 p.m. today cashier is rule stupid don't follow directions did not provide plastic napkins or ketchup what I asked for I think this is the stupid people there is in Gainesville Florida I'm not from here but I will not visit this particular Popeyes again in my life they need to be shut down bad Business rude employees stupid employees dumb employees

Arrived shortly after opening. Never addressed when we came in. Associate working register already sitting down eating her lunch. Asked another associate to take our order. Associates said they were busy. She reluctantly came to take our order. Asked for a 3 piece white, got 2 dark, 1 white. Red beans & rice luke warm. Stomach upset since eating there. Last time we came they had no napkins or paper towels anywhere in the restaurant. This is a direct reflection on management. Poor customer service & food safety protocols not being followed. County Health inspector performance should be reviewed as well. Shame because they are only one of a view restaurants in this area. Will not be back.

For the second time we did received items different from that which we ordered. We asked for three two piece (all dark meat) meals. We received all white meat. This time, we ordered two two-piece meals and an order of chicken tenders. We received one meal and the tenders, though we paid for an additional meal that was not received. If I could give a half star, I would.

In your opinion is this a chicken tenders or a chicken strip?? No drink included for $8?? I'd be better off at McDonald's

I went there today. Order some spicy chicken. They did not have any legs or thighs, just breastSo when I got my order, they gave me my chicken breast.They forgot my mashed potatoes,and red beans and rice and one biscuit spent thirty seven dollars in all. When I got home, I realized that things were missing. The chicken was old as hell and cold so when I asked for a refund, they refusedI took pictures of the chicken.But I'm not able to download them on this website. Sorry, but I would have loved for you to see how the chicken looked Every time I come here. There's an issue they're out of chicken, or they don't want to make chicken.
