'Was better than the average sit-down, pizza restaurant. It's a definite do again if you're in the area and have a pizza craving. Portions and prices were fair. The wait-service was excellent. The restaurant seems family or couple oriented.

This is the second location we have tried, the food was equally good. The rolls are beyond amazing, get it with the dressing and cheese, you won't regret it (order a side of marinara for extra dipping for a truly wonderful experience) We had remarkable service, drinks were always filled. Pizza is cooked just right, dough and sauce equally has such great flavor.

We love love Piesanos! Been to the one near the UF campus and the one south of Haile Planation several times and it's been consistently good. The restaurants have a quaint atmosphere and our servers have always been excellent. The food is amazing! Love the complimentary rolls in their signature vinaigrette dressing. Not even sure why that works but it does and we're hooked! (You can request them without the vinaigrette as well but I recommend trying them for yourself.) Their pizzas are awesome, salads excellent, and we've had a variety of Italian entrees... Love their red sauce, meatballs, pasta... Haven't had anything I doesn't thoroughly enjoy. Piesanos is a Gainesville staple for us.

While traveling through Florida, we decided to meet some friends here and have a Sunday night dinner. As a party of 9, it did seem like it was an inconvenience at first by the host staff to move around some of the tables. Service was okay. Nothing to truly brag about, especially with a larger party. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and added chicken. It was your standard recipe, nothing to really rave about. They do have cheese that they will grate per your request. The real star of this restaurant has to be the garlic rolls served to guests-- Very hot, fresh, and delicious! The sauce at the bottom was absolutely to die for.

I've been going to Piesanos for a while, so this review is long overdue. Their pizza and pasta are delicious every single time. They have a great selection on their lunch menu, and a great place to go if you have kids. Waiters/waitresses are always attentive, and accommodating. It has a very cozy feel to this restaurant. A few TVs placed to catch the game if you're worried about missing it is a plus. Would definitely recommend for families, and date nights

I'm from New Haven, Connecticut basically where they invented pizza and I was quite surprised how good Paisano's pizza was because Florida is not known for pizza. I would definitely recommend this place however order the pizza well done.

Had lunch with the work crew. We had the lunch specials. I had the two topping pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The others had a Philly cheesesteak, pizza ham and pepperoni and pizza mushrooms and pepperoni. It was good. The service was good and the inside was clean.

My family has eaten at Piesanos on multiple occasions over the past two years. We dine in and find the experience consistently excellent. A cheese with onion pizza is our go-to menu item. The sauce is flavorful and the crust is great. We prefer the pizza bottom to be a little crusty and that is what we get - not overly so, though. Our location at Tower Road (71st and Archer) is almost always busy but we do not have a long wait. The servers are attentive. Piesanos serves rolls as an on-the-house "appetizer". Typically they are served with Italian dressing. We are not a fan as we find it overly acidic. So we have learned to ask for olive oil and - primo! Gainesville has a number of first rate pizza options and Piesanos is certainly high on our list of favorites. We are going again tonight!

Just ate there. My husband asked for a personal pizza and wanted cauliflower crust and the upgraded into a small pizza without saying anything and charged him $21 for the pizza. I got a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The waitress asked if I wanted a 9 ounce for. I said yes it was seven dollars different from the smaller poor I got two glasses of wine that cost me $40. I was watching very carefully what you order.
