We came here because we were mixed to Home Depot and it was lunchtime. They served us as soon as we sat a very generous portion size of salsa and the nachos were hot . We sat at the bar and we were greeted promptly. They have an indoor and outdoor bar as well as indoor and outdoor seating the inside is bright and roomy. They have happy hour every day and House margaritas are two for one and you could taste the tequila in their margaritasThey have a special Sunday menu. It might be Saturdays as well from 1030 to 2 which includes brunch items huevos rancheros and other assorted brunch type items along with their regular menuI opted for the two soft taco platter. I got one chicken and one beef and it comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. It was super filling and delicious. My husband got the three taco platter, all hard beef, but he actually only ordered the two taco platter so he got an extra one at no charge. Ask for the taco sauce you won't regret it. It's a bit spicy and it's delicious.

We popped in for a bite early on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded yet, but the outside seating filled up through the course of our lunch. They passed out a brunch menu in addition to their regular menu. Between the two, there are so many options you'll never find in the typical cookie-cutter Mexican restaurants all over town. Several things I'd like to try on a return visit. And for my picky son, there's still plenty of plain old stand-bys, so he doesn't have to be adventurous if he doesn't want.Their chip basket came with a nice fresh salsa and an additional salsa - maybe more fire roasted flavor and more heat?Their house margarita was pretty good. The boy had a soda that was refilled once.We got the ceviche mixto and I was pretty impressed. Their claim on the seafood section of the dinner menu is local, fresh, never frozen, and that might be true of the ceviche, too.The boy got a chimichanga that looked really good. With refried beans, rice, and an extra plate for the quacamole, sour cream, and salady things.I really had a hard time choosing from all the new options, but ended up with the camarones a la diabla. Not super hot, but much nicer flavor than other shrimp diablo's I've had elsewhere.Everything was covered in red onion, fresh chopped tomato, cilantro. Really generous with the flavorful "garnishes" or whatever you'd call them.Nice service and a more classy atmosphere.Overall, a completely different league from most Mexican restaurants in the area. There's only a couple of places in town that compare. You'll probably pay a bit more for that, but well worth it when you get tired of ordering the "number 4" at one of the generic places.

GREAT food! I ordered chicken fajitas. The thin sliced chicken strips were seasoned well, hot and on top of a huge bed of onions and peppers. I loved them compared toChilis or Cantina Louie in that they did not have a fake smoke taste! They came with a huge side of black beans, salsa, rice. lettuce and cheese. They could easily be split between several people. I took home my leftovers and had enough for lunch the next 2 days! Service was fantastic. They were not too busy so our server checked back with us often.

We came here after Valentine's day. Balloons and a heart shape background were all around the restaurant. It is a sight to see inside, open and inviting. Also, there is outside seating. Spanish music and a quaint vibe. Our waiter was super friendly and wanted to guide us through the menu. On this trip the grands were with us. I had the smoking fajitas. The grands had the chicken nuggets and fries. Wifey had the burrito and enchilades. My only complaint were the black beans were ice cold. It is nice to get a chance to have good food at a affordable price in St Johns county. All in all it is one for the record book. We shared Valentine day with the grands. Peppers hit the bulleye!

First time dining here with my girlfriends. We got here around 7:30 on Saturday night and they were not busy at all. We got seated and able to put in our orders right away. Overall, it was a delightful culinary experience, and their surf and turf dish is a standout! The flavors were well-seasoned, perfectly complementing each other. The service was decent, and the modern decor added to the overall ambiance. They also have a full bar outside, cozy and inviting. A must-visit for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts seeking a contemporary twist.

Came here for Momma's night out dinner. Our server was very attentive and also provided some drink recommendations. Food service was prompt and everything came out as ordered. I had the Blood orange margarita and a blue sangria. Both had great flavor however I do prefer the blood orange. I ordered three shrimp tacos with rice and beans. I really enjoyed the dish and of course the company.

Wow, the ambiance and the service scream "date night", so grab your significant other and have fun. Happy hour 1-5Lots of TEQUILA options, like lots and lots. The thing that stuck with me was their service, but the food is good too. You need to especially pay attention to the various salsa (like tomatillo) and sauces (like mole), they are made in house and are delightful. But you want to hear about the food, don't you?Salsa - thin with a nice flavor and spice kick.Chips - normal chips, nothing special.Queso - now you are starting to rock , like it.Mole - this sauce surprised me, it was so good, try it even if you just get a little bit as a side.California Burrito - large and in charge, we got ours with steak.Enchiladas - not my favorite, I found them fry but drowning them in mole sauce helped.Pick 3 - my wife's choice, great option because you get a choice of three items and rice and beans. Next trip, I am all over that.Great location for family or date night, not too formal but nice fir date night too.

We were quickly seated for our noon lunch. Chips and salsa arrived right after we sat down. The salsa was full of chunky cut tomatoes, however it was a bit spicy. They also served a warm smooth salsa which was flavorful but had heat as well. We shared the ceviche mix. It was perfect for a light lunch. Good size shrimp mixed with fresh citrus cured grouper, red onions, tomatoes, serrano peppers, and fresh cilantro. It was served on a platter with sliced avocado, sliced cucumbers, pico, and homemade tostada chips. Note the serrano peppers added a fair amount of heat to the dish. The beer was very cold and the white sangria was light and fresh. The cantina has high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers. The music is loud enough to hear but low enough for easy conversation over the faux marble tables. Quick and friendly service made for a great lunch.

Christmas Eve we celebrated grandmother's 90th birthday with a margarita, GiGi's preference. Great service, yummy food, fun celebrations... but the best part... honest people. Gigi left her birthday cards on the table with gift cards and cash. We came back today to pick them up, they had all intact and handed with a smile, a hug, and a happy new year/merry Christmas. Thank you for making our celebrating special.
