I worked in here and got fired on 11/09/2022 after Joanne Parks called me FAT after I sat on a table to go through bins and watch children in the 1 year old room. She spoke badly to me and then FIRED me in front of 2 other employees and multiple children.Joanne is racist, and doesn't care for the children unless they are her color. My sister toured the daycare because she wanted to enroll my niece and nephew with them, but Joanne Parks seemed uninterested in my sister and her children. She will belittle you and constantly watch over you shoulder, then she will ask you "where are your kids?" and"how many do you have because we're not counting the same number" AND THEN ask about a scratch on a child's face, that is literally glue and blue fabric from his pocket. She will slam doors in your face and the daycare doesn't file reports like they need to and they won't tell you the truth about your child. If your kid got bit or bit someone, they'll tell you not to say anything. It's a horrible place to be and I wanted to quit after my first week there. I was hired on 10/14/2022 but didn't start until 10/17/2022. Joanne Parks will not hold, comfort, play with or anything with a child unless it's a child of her color. She will do anything possible to make you feel uncomfortable and find any and every reason to complain about you.

Came here for a walk through with my daughter to put my grandkids in and they were very unprofessional. Had workers that didn't have certifications and told a child to bite another kid back. I would not send my dead dog here.

We have been at Parks' Place since it first opened. We brought our first born when she was 3 months old, and 10 years later, our fourth and last child will be entering their awesome VPK program in August. Mrs. Parks brings her experience as an educator to the table, as well as her giving heart. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure the children get to have an amazing experience while in her care. The VPK teachers are phenomenal, and my children's elementary school gets excited when they found they are getting any Parks' Place kids. Parks' Place offers top notch instruction academically, socially, and culturally. Our family is ever so grateful for having found this gem of a center to trust our babies with. Thanks PPLC!

My son has just started at Park's Place and he is thriving in the Infant Room. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, and he is always well taken care of. We have been very pleased with our experience over the last few months. We will continue to update our reviews as our relationship with Park's Place continues.

If I could give negative stars I would. The daycare owner was verbally abusive to her employees. She would also target specific parents and children if she knew that they could only afford this daycare and wouldn't leave despite her disrespectful behavior. If she thought a kid was difficult she would purposely disrespect the parents until they got fed up and left so she could keep their deposit money. There have been at least five different people at the front desk. All of them left due to the verbal abuse and being extremely overworked. The classrooms were understaffed because the daycare owner is so money hungry. My advice to anyone look for child care is to run and not look back!

My grandson started in the afternoon VPK classroom. In August 2016, it has not been a very good experience for him. The teacher Ms. Michelle would crumble his paper up in front of him and tell him that it was incorrect, she would be eating a snack in front of the children (brought to her by another staff member) and when children would state that they were hungry she would tell them its not snack time as she continued to eat in front of them. My grandson has been out for 2 weeks they haven't even called to check on him. This is not how you treat children, not a good way of making them feel included in the classroom. I would not recommend any child go there. I am an early educator and this is not a good learning environment for children. No personal connection at all. Very disappointed..My grandson just wants to learn and this is not that place.
