Paleteria Magia Fresca

I saw something online about this place. I pass by here all of the time and often wondered what this place was about. So, I finally took the time to stop in for some fruit pops, a cup of mango and four tacos. The mango cup was Devine and full of mango. I have not tried the fruit pops yet. I shared two of the four tacos with my husband. The tacos blew my socks off! It was not ground beef, I believe it was ground steak. I loved the limes, cilantro, & huge onions in the grilled tacos. I had a taste of the sauce and it was too hot for me, but Ernie ate all of the hot sauce. I think I will be a forever customer here. They are located on Old St. Augustine Road in Lakewood, not far from University Blvd. They're in a small strip mall. I highly recommend this place.PS: Very friendly people! They do accept debit/cc. Open 7 days a week.

Stopped in, because the pics on their website looked good. Came in ice cream selection was scarce, I tasted the mamey it tasted nothing like mamey, I sampled the coconut and that one was good, had flakes and all. There were also popsicles packaged. The lady that helped us wasn't exactly the friendliest I don't think I will be back there was nothing special to it..

WOW! You guys need to check this ice cream store out!Everything is handmade, fresh ice cream, fresh natural juices, fresh popsicles.The place was super clean, the gentleman was very nice and patient while we looked at what we wanted.The best ...... Their Horchata!!! I've been to Honduras and Mexico and multiple places in the US, HIS horchata is the BEST THAT IVE EVER TASTED!!!! Thank you for bringing your talent to us in Jacksonville. Yummy, yummy paletas (homemade frozen pops) ice cream, drinks, and snacks. Flavors of Latin America and the US. Perfect for these hot days and any day!

Four of walked in and ice cream looked good. We walked out the placed smelled horrible like old dirty mops. Plus no one came ip front to help us.

The chongos ice cream is divine! If you have not visited, make time. So good. I also grabbed a pineapple chili popsicle to bring home and I have no doubt it will be delicious as well. Thank you!

I've been to this place so many times and each time I visit I would try different items on the snack menu and all of them taste so good . You really can't go wrong in trying all of what they have. I definitely will recommend!

We stopped by for a quick dessert on our way through Jax. This place was very clean and they had all their paletas right there to choose from. We got 3 different flavors and they all had large chunks of fresh fruit in them. They were nice and smooth and easy to bite. Not icy at all. We also got a horchata and it was not only huge but super rich and had the perfect amount of spice to it. We will come back next time we're in Jax again.

I love this place, they have such great flavors. I stopped in to try it while on that side of town, now I find myself going there every week to get the Superman Ice Cream! definitely recommend.
