Palermo Puerto Rican Kitchen

Food is 100 percent authentic. Everything was so fresh and made to order. The appetizers platter had mini bacalaitos (cod fritters) chicharron de pollo (crispy chicken) meat turnovers and sorullitos all good and freshly made. Alcapurrias were absolutely DELICIOUS. Had the perfect meat/plantain ratio and fried to perfection.The fried red snapper was perfectly made and the churrasco with trifongo was to die for and so was the stuffed chicken breast with goat cheese sauce. We were a group of 14 and they did their best to accommodate all of us. Considering the amount of people our food came out fast and NOBODY had a complaint. Everything was good,fresh and tasty. We also ordered a thanksgiving meal for 20 ppl from them and it lived up to the expectation. The turkey was super moist and flavorful and so were the rest of the sides. This restaurant has proven they know what they are doing. I can't wait to be back. This place is a true Gem .

Our dinner was so delicious. Love the papas grits as an appetizer. We shared the Pork Can Can with arroz con gandules and some fried yuca. It was amazing and craveable. Service was great and the white sangria was tasty.

Another great evening at Palermo's! I know, I sound like a broken record, but you all have to stop by and try the genius they are. I won't talk about my all time favorite stuffed chicken with the goat cheese (I have left many love letters on it here on Yelp) tonight's star for me was the skirt steak, it was perfectly tender, seasoned and divine! The chimichurri sauce was a perfect complement for it but honestly the skirt steak could be enjoyed on its own. My husband loved the Mediterranean fish of the day (mahi mahi) he stated it was excellent and he is a seafood snob, so that's high praise) if at this point with all my reviews I haven't convinced you about this specific restaurant.. well the saying "you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink it" comes to mind. This place deserves more attention and recognition it's top tier in service and food and cleanliness.. if you are on the fence don't, just stop by, you won't be sorry! While you are there, say hello to Jeanette and Migdalia both sweethearts! Oh yeah, come hungry and if intrigued get the sampler as your appetizer. Ps: I think this would be a great spot for a date!

Inviting, amiable, clean, pleasant, & nicely-decorated!My family will definitely be returning! "Why?" you may ask. Delicious appetizers, food, and adult beverages at decent prices! Plus, I am waitress was phenomenally attentive!

Very very authentic and delicious. We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch, and were delighted by the finding. We will certainly be back!

In the heart of Jacksonville FL and close to the river, this amazing gastronomic jewel can take you to the most delicious taste of a beautiful island in the caribbean called Puerto Rico. The service is enjoyable and very nice. The ambiance is very classic with pictures and art of different places of Puerto Rico. Thanks to all the personnel of Palermo for such a wonderful experience while spending time in Jacksonville.

This is my first visit on a recommendation from a Puerto Rican that eats here often and says they cook just like his Abuelita. My hubby is also Boricua and wanted to bring something home to him. On the recommendation I got morcilla, and rellenos de papa for my hubby. I ordered the beef empanadas. All were super delish. The morcilla has just the right amount of kick. The papas were in a log shape not a ball. They are small tho. The empanadas are the same size as the Goya disks as well. My hubby loved everything and so we cannot wait to go back to have a full dinner. I waited 15 min for my to go order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant dining room was immaculately cleaned and they played music as well.

Finally had the chance to try this. AMAZING! I am not a fan of hummus but OMG....i couldn't get enough. We all tried something different and were thoroughly satisfied with taste, portions and pricing. Highly recommend!

This my fifth time here and the consistency of the food and service is excellent. The grilled pork chops is a must.

The food was good the service was pleasant , we from the VI so we were looking for food that closely resembles us and this was the perfect spot.
