Food, Service, Ambiance. Paladar's has its and more. The coffee (and yes I am a coffee/caffeine nut) is some of the best I've had. From Miami to St. Pete from New Orleans to San Francisco. A true Cubano expresso. And to go with that awesome cup + awesome sweets . Give Paladar a try and yourself a treat.

Cute little Cuban inspired restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The menu is on the wall above the counter or you can check it out on your phone. There is a tip jar just in case you don't want to tip when you order on the spot before knowing what the service is or what it will be. A self-service water station is available if you don't want to order a different drink or coffee (yay!). All condiments, flatware, and napkins are all self-serve. They can accommodate slightly larger groups of 10 (give or take) as well.Of course, they have a menu to order from and everything is made fresh (within reason) to order. Plus, there are items in the "case" as well. Moreover, there are several dessert options. Please note, if you are a sweet tea lover like me, please be advised the sugar is stirred in cold and not brewed in. Bottled water is available for purchase if you prefer not to use the water station. As for the food...honestly, I wasn't happy with my sandwich--the Pan con Bistec. I thought it was tasteless and bland. But the good news is hot sauce and mustard were available. It was also hard to eat with the potato sticks on top--it just fell apart, so be sure to grab a fork and spoon. The maduros were good. I had lunch with a small group and those who just ate dessert or empanadas seemed happy. I guess I didn't choose wisely--it's just ok food to me. The décor inside is inviting and trendy...and the staff is friendly. In my experience, the service consists of your food being brought out. Now and then they would refill a drink, but otherwise, you need to go to the counter for the refill. There is plenty of parking shared by the entire strip mall. Restrooms are available and there is free wi-fi.

We were really looking forward to going to El Paladar Cuban eatery to have a Cuban sandwich and coffee. We were coming from Saint Augustine, returning to Orlando and decided to take route number one just to go to this special place. The location is good and their decorations inside and the general restaurant eating area was very good. I find, however, that they were a little pricey for the food they were offering. The Cuban sandwich was not what we expected as it was packaged in such a way that when you opened it up, it all came apart. Not really the Cuban sandwich that I would've expected from a Cuban restaurant. The people however, were very friendly, very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. We did not complain about the sandwich because we felt that it is an up-and-coming restaurant and they know what they are doing. Although pricey, we did enjoy our meal.

Amazing gem hidden inside Anastasia Island. This is a great place to grab some great coffee and breakfast food. We found this place during the second to last day of our trip to Florida. Inside looks gorgeous with an amazing mural and various decoration. Their pastries showcase is mouth watering and fresh. During our first visit, we grabbed a café cubano and got to try the Spaniard and Cuban American sandwich. The coffee was strong and tasty. Foods were fresh and delicious. During the second visit, got to try the el cubano sandwich, which was tasty and fresh. Overall, this is an amazing bakery and eatery to grab some great breakfast. Will definitely come back again.

Cozy little place. The atmosphere is nice. You order at the counter and then find a seat. They have tables inside and out. I got a cuban sandwich which was decent and plantains which i enjoyed. I didn't realize they had empanadas until I heard someone order them after I was done. My loss. It's an order for another day I guess.

Great spot & as a fellow Cuban it was great to have a bite of our own food up north. Only reason I gave it a 4 start instead of 5, was because of the gentlemen who rung us up yesterday morning. Attitude, and gave us croquetas that were squashed. When we asked for 3 new ones... he gave us some. Until we realized he just gave us the wrong flavor because he didn't want to wait for the jamón ones. Then whistled at me like I was a dog? lol anyways, great food, great environment, and all around felt like home.

I happened to stop by this Cuban eatery along my trek home. The El Cubano to my surprise was nice and crisp, yet soft almost like melt in your mouth while chewing. The Espresso coffee was right enough for my liking as coffee gives me too much the jitters most times. The employees were kind and had a smile when spoken to. I may have came on an off day for business(Wednesday) but not too busy during lunch hours. The colors popped quite a bit on the walls. 5 stars.

I don't care for ham so I ordered the turkey, cream cheese, jelly sandwich but found it disappointing. The pastries & flan looked delicious & I'm sorry I didn't order one.
