Huge portions, staff that treats newcomers like family, AMAZING food. The crab bisque is better here than at the San Francisco dock!

Very disappointed. I was not expecting world-class Italian food, no, but I was expecting at least decent per the other glowing reviews here and popularity of this restaurant. It was not decent. First, the interior. This once was Nell's, a down-home type country buffet locally loved and of pretty high quality. Whenever it sold and became "Our Place" it seems the new owners redecorated but didn't replace the booths which have seats that are literally falling apart. My booth looked this way plus several others, like a tiger had scratch all of them open and the stuffing was coming out. Bad sign to start with. My waitress was fine, she honestly seemed to do her best. I ordered penne alla vodka which comes with salad and garlic rolls. The salad was also fine though the Italian dressing tasted store-bought and not homemade. The penne itself was overcooked and the sauce watery and lacking flavor. But the worst part of all was the garlic rolls: at first they tasted fine then I tasted something odd--a paper-like, chemical, taste. Then I looked at the little wax paper-covered plastic basket they were served in and noticed that the very hot rolls with their dripping garlic butter had completely melted the wax paper and it had absorbed into the rolls, hence the odd taste. I told the waitress who, for her part, was sincerely apologetic and told the manager. He through her offered a 10% discount on the bill, which was applied. But here's the thing: the restaurant was not busy at all--only a few other tables occupied--and this manager did not come over to apologize in person. Why? This wasn't just a customer saying they didn't like the food, but someone with a clear complaint over food quality and safety and he did not have the gumption to even speak in person? Pathetic. I get that running a restaurant in a small town is tough and margins are thin, good help is hard to find and keep--my aunt used to own a restaurant in a town about the size of Branford so I know how rural areas can be, but there's no excuse still for such sloppiness.

I had some issues with this place once or twice, the managers there are kind of rude. And ive heard rumors about them hiring druggies. Not too sure but the chocolate cake is good! and the place is very italian feeling, weird smell in bathroom.

Came here for the first time after a day at the Springs. Got the build your own calzone and it was massive! It's was so good and the sauce was amazing - not too spicy, not too sweet. I had to take half home because I couldn't eat the whole thing. Service was great, our waiter kept checking on us. I also got a pizza for later and it was also really good, not super thick not too thin either like the cracker crust. This was thin, New York style pizza. Would definitely get again.

Excellent food and even better service. I would take my out of town friends and family to this restoranut whenever they visit. I always try something different whenever I go here and have never been disappointed.

This place was awesome!! Service was prompt and attentive. We had a group of 7 on a Saturday night and were sat with no wait.Everything everyone ordered they said was delicious (with the exception of the grilled chicken dinner which my husband said was rubbery).I loved the mild wings (they were kind of spicy), the garlic knots, the fried ravioli (though the marinara it came with wasnt my fav), and the cheese pizza was one of the best restaurant pizzas ive had in a while!100% will be coming back.

I've had Italian in many Italian neighborhoods, and eaten homemade dishes from family. I have to say Our Place was comparable to the best of the best. Their red sauce is AMAZING! Between the three of us we had the baked manicotti, spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant Parmesan, fried ravioli, and the garlic knots. The meatballs are huge and delicious. Portion sizes are large enough for two meals. Pasta and eggplant was perfectly cooked. The bartender and service was excellent. This gem found in the little town of Branford, FL was a pleasant surprise. We did not order pizza, but by looking at how many did, and how much they ate, I'm sure the pizza is just as delicious. Great job!!! Truly outstanding. Sorry I forgot to take pictures, we were too busy eating!

The 1st time we were here was great. This time was not. We judge our Italian restaurants by their garlic rolls. Our salad was great and we waited for the rolls. Our food came. My tortellini was good, but the meatballs on my husband's plate were like bland, bad meatloaf. And we like meatloaf. Our waitress was too busy to handle the room and bar. Toward the end of our meal we asked about the rolls. She said they don't have time to get them into the oven, they're too busy. Nobody offered to take anything off our total, I didn't even have a chance to ask, as another girl came to the register, ran my card, set 2 receipts down and ran off. Food was 50/50, didn't get everything we paid for and staff is too busy to care.

I adore their Chicken Marsala! And everything else has always been very good each time I visit Our Place and that is a lot. Thank you Our Place for being in this small town of Branford Fl. Miss Connie

Our Place in Branford has the pizza in 100 mile radius. And I know my pizza. It smells like Italy when you open the box.
