Orange Park

This is a great little farmers market easily accessed from Jax and OP at the orange park town hall on Saturdays. During my first visit I was surprised by the amount of vendors here. The farmers market has produce, live music, entertainment for kids, food products, jewelry, etc. Although the riverside arts market is my favorite, the Orange Park farmers market is a good local second option.

I did not know this place existed! So there is Clay county then there is the town of Orange Park. So I stopped by the town hall the other day. They have everything you need for your business in one spot. Get your water account setup, zoning, fire inspection. You name it they got you covered. I was so impressed with the amount of things you can get done in one building. We need to go back to the go old days! And Mrs. Louis is the sweetest Lady. She answered all my stupid questions and even enter my information in right there on the spot. Great southern hospitality.

If I bicycle, drive or walk to the farmers market in Orange Park, either which way I know I will see something fun, funny, exciting and usually nostalgic which will bring back good memories from my youth. :) There is always music, food, things to buy activities to do for your kids, puppies to pet and hopefully adopt!! It happens every first Sunday of the month (I'm not too sure if it's seasonal though, I would look into the website for that to see the schedule) Dogs are allowed and so are the kids lol I love farmers markets any day! Buy local with local businesses!

First Sunday of every month unless there is a holiday then it is normally moved to the next Sunday. Last Sunday had about 5 Farmers vending there. One lady was selling herb potted plants. Sometimes three to four food trucks/food vendors for a fantastic lunch. Kettle Corn. Art, jewelry, homemade BBQ sauces, hand made dog biscuits, dog collars and clothing, wood cravings, hand carved walking sticks, baked goods.

This is a good place for produce and specialty booths. Prices are good. It is a good place to wander around on a sunny day.

The OP farmer's market is more of a smaller alternative to RAM than a real farmer's market. There is some produce but more prepared foods and goods. It's nice when you want or need something but don't feel like making the trip to RAM. Many of the same vendors come here (this on a Sunday).
