Stayed here for a conference and had a pleasant stay. The staff was quick and efficient on check in. The room was clean. Bathroom is a little older and the shower took me a little bit to figure out even with the directions on the wall. The amenities were decent. The property is huge and the rooms are located with outside doors past the elevators. The lobby has a bar that serves coffee during the morning hours and then switches to alcohol at night. The banquet style food we ate for our conference was really good for hotel standards. Everything was clean and well presented. The conference rooms were large and all our snacks throughout the day were delicious.

I'm not sure why this place gets a bad Rep but it's probably because the snobby people who go here think they're better than everyone elseThe customer service here is amazing. What stood out the most in particular is the valet staff as well as the shuttle drivers. These individuals are all amazing people who take care of the guestsThe valley here stands out by far the best customer service and I've been to three other Omni locations The food is always good and the amenities is plenty This place you can literally just stay here and not have to go anywhere Beware if you are Asian, you will get a ton of stares, it's not the Omni, it's the people that live here

The Omni is a large property on Amelia Island. The common areas- pool- an adult pool and a children's pool. I consider that a huge plus as I go on vacation to relax not to listen to other people's children scream. The pools are beautiful, lots of chairs, umbrellas, food and bar service. They offer valet parking and self parking- I valet parked. The self park is a little bit of a walk. The parking attendants and the staff are very courteous. The hotel has two sections- an older section and a newer one- although I don't know how "new" it was. We were in the older section. It can be quite a walk to the older section. If you have young children- I would stay in newer section. It would be quite a haul from the pool and back to room for them! The older section we stayed in is in need of renovation. We were placed into a room, dropped luggage off and left, came back to a room that smelled like mold and the carpet was wet. It was raining a lot while we were there. We asked to be moved. We were switched to same section of hotel. The room appeared to be ok but the toilet kept running. My friend took the tank cover off and fixed it. However, the next night as we were going to bed-the toilet clogged and the water was at the top but did not overflow yet. It was very late so we were too tired to call maintenance. We couldn't use it at all overnight. In am water went down. We attempted to use it and ended up with water leaking all over bathroom area. I turned off water and got all the towels possible to soak up water. We called maintenance. We told them it was an emergency and was surprised that it took a little while for them to get there. I would say 20 minutes. All and all, I would give it a lot of thought before staying again. There were other little annoying things, no garbage can by bathroom sink, no self coffee and tea station. I hated this. You would have to go stand in line to get one at the little restaurant/ bar near the lobby. I don't understand a hotel like the Omni not having a station for a quick coffee or tea. They charged you for it. I heard but did not use that service that they also charge for chairs down at the beach. We only used the pool so I can't verify. For our inconvenience, they took 25 percent off our last room night. Honestly, I would have expected more. We did use the spa- it is beautiful and we all had wonderful massages. Relaxing areas, nice steam showers and great staff. Best part of our trip.

Omni Amelia Island Resort is a great spot to unwind and relax! Love the walk up bar by the pool. Their pina colada's are amazing! the beach access after grabbing a drink or (2) worth it. I have seen turtles at this before before so that was nice to see

Really expansive resort in a beautiful location. The amenities are great and the service staff throughout was very good but the place is need of remodeling the buildings and rooms feel old and dated. The main lobby and pool areas are nice. Good food at their on site restaurants.

Was here for a conference and needed another room. Front desk manager wasn't empathetic and told me she couldn't sell me a room in the block the conference had, nor could she accept a "walk in", even though I wasn't. Told me to go book online, I had to use a link for the rate code, etc. I explained that they have rooms available, I'm standing here with a credit card in my hand, and that SOMEONE at the property surely wanted to take my money. She was very unhelpful and didn't try to help, at all. Customer service and sales fail.

5 star customer service and amazing staff. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, fantastic spot for families with young children. Great kids splash pad for young toddlers and beachfront property with lots to do and great outdoor adventures. Everyone here from the bellhops to the bartenders to the wait staff to housekeeping have been exceptionally kind and really made the vacay great! Several different restaurant options from casual to fine dining. We booked the deluxe oceanfront with a balcony and there was more than enough room for a pack and play and beautiful ocean views. The rooms looked a littler older online but they are so clean and no weird ocean musty smell that some beach resorts like Atlantis have. Mini fridge in the room and microwave available upon request. Parking is a little expensive, $25+ self parking or $40+ for valet so budget accordingly. We had a small hiccup with our room the first day and management was easy to contact and fixed our issue immediately (thank you Tobi and Maureen). Very happy with our vacation here to celebration our son's first birthday, even with some stormy weather we had a blast and will be back!

My husband and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for a staycation. We live in Jacksonville and Amelia Island is less than an hour for us to travel so this was definitely a great place for a staycation. We checked in on a Friday evening, they were pretty busy but they were quick to check us in. Omni Amelia Island definitely did an amazing job. When you first enter the view of the ocean and the pool was outstanding! The lobby was always clean and smells good! We got the pool view at the second floor, the room was nice! very spacious and has a balcony which I love! The only thing I did not like about our stay was we can hear everything on our room especially the outside. I am a very light sleeper and that irritated me, the first evening I did not get any sleep. So the second night I put towels underneath our door and it did helped. But other than that, I am obsessed with this resort! they have adult pool only that have pool service. The restaurants here was amazing and the staff, The staff was top notch! Now, we found our perfect little place for our staycation!

Flying into Jacksonville airport, the resort is a good 25 minute drive. I rented a car only because I was traveling alone and didn't feel secure taking a long Uber ride by myself in the early evening. I'm sure glad I drove because the drive was serene and the sunset views along the marshlands were spectacular. The resort was definitely huge that opens up to more than 3 miles of beach, with the Atlantic Ocean at its feet. Sure, some people can argue that the resort needs some updating. But for me, nothing beats taking a morning stroll, with your bare feet touching the sand, and watching the sun rise over the ocean. I was here for a work conference so I didn't have as much time to explore the resort or the entire island for that matter. This is definitely one of those places you can take your partner or your entire family to unwind and relax because they offer something for everyone.

Omni Amelia island was great. The hotel was huge!, the property has everything you need to relax and enjoy a getaway. The beach is beautiful and the view fromThe ocean front rooms are priceless. The rooms are large, clean and the beds are comfortable. Lots of food choices with 10 different restaurants. I recommend the "falcons nest" for a cold drink and huge delicious hand burgers. Pools super nice. Cant beat the white sandy beach.
