I work in the building behind Old City Subs, so whenever I need a quick lunch but can't go far, I head over. Every once in a while, I crave a really good sub, and this place always delivers. They have a full menu with tons of options, and their seating area is spacious and comfortable. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff makes ordering a breeze. Service is super quick, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want something satisfying!

I had the chipotle steak panini and it was very good -- served hot with just the right sauce. I also had a slice of the cinnamon cake -- a good treat after the spiced chipotle. The shop is simple and clean with some vintagey & patriotic decor and a few mentions of God.

This local sandwich and salads place has long been a favorite in my family. My sons like the turkey subs in particular. I noticed today that they now offer paninis, so I tried the chipotle steak panini, which came with sautéed onions, roasted red peppers and pepperjack cheese. It was a spicy melty tasty sandwich and the bread was nice. I'm a little undecided on the steak so I may try one next time by substituting grilled chicken instead. Good restaurant with friendly staff.

My husband and I tried Old City Subs today. This was our first time. I would say that this is an average sub place. I got the meatball sub w provolone and my husband got the Dagwood. The meatballs on my sandwich were barely above room temp - certainly not warm enough to melt the cheese; one of the 4 meatballs was burned on a side so I had to take that off (it was hard and not chewable). My husband enjoyed his sub, so that was good. When we arrived there were 4 employees in view and no customers (we had a late lunch so not unexpected). As we entered and gazed at the board, no one welcomed us or offered suggestions. We approached the counter and placed our order, ate in the dining area, cleaned up our table, and refilled our drinks. As we left there was another (not one of the original 4 we entered to) employee seated by the door - no 'thank you for coming' or even 'goodbye'. Not a hospitable employee in the bunch, sadly.

My wife had a coupon for a free sandwich so we decided to try out Old City Subs. It was a good decision, both sandwiches were very good. I had the French Dip, my wife had corned beef. The sandwiches were big enough that neither of us finished them so we got two meals for the price of one. The service was fine, you order and pick up from the counter. I'd say if you're hungry and in the area it's worth the stop.
