Odd Birds Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge

I came up to St. Augustine to attend a Super Bowl party, and my host had it here! I thought it was just going to be a bar with a private room, but it was so much more than that- it was a Speakeasy! With a "secret" entrance- behind a bookshelf! How cool is that! Once in, you are transported to dark and cool space with cool furniture chairs and your own bar complete with a bartender! . They have one TV, but my benefactor brought in several more to make the viewing better.We had an incredible time, there was both a buffet and I ordered off the menu. The buffet consisted of Beef Empanadas, Blackened Shrimp, Spring rolls, chips, salsa and some of the best guacamole I have ever had! I also ordered the chicken wings, and they were crispy and delicious as well!The bar itself was a cool looking spot, I would be happy to sit there as well, but I really enjoyed the Speakeasy. Too bad I don't live closer to St. Augustine, otherwise I would be a regular!

Odd birds was decked out Christmas decorations and nice ambient lighting. I love the outside patio area, perfect to sit in in this Florida weather. The inside was a nice speakeasy atmosphere, with a dimmer lighting and pretty lights. I really enjoyed my chi chi cocktail, I ordered 2! The espresso martini was good as well. I ordered the beef empanadas and Yuka frittas, and they filled me up. I will say the empanadas were pretty juicy/oily, but still delicious.The service was very friendly but at a busier time of night where we had to wait a bit for our food and drinks to come out; we didn't mind since we were there to take our time anyway. I'd definitely come here again!

Where have you been all of my life! Omg everything about this place. Everything! Food, drinks, creativity, superb oddness, clean, delicious, beautiful! Service was with a smile and so attentive by Nina! She was phenomenal!! We ordered drinks made by the bartenders and they didn't disappoint! We just told them what we liked and they made a surprise for us! Soooooo freaking good! We ordered chicken empanada, Brussels stouts, chicken and waffle and tacos. Everything was freaking phenomenal! This is going to be a must go to next time I'm in st. Augustine! They have a speakeasy there too which is so gorgeous and intimate! The menu is bartenders call. I love it so much! Just go, seriously, just go!

A great recommendation from our bartender at the Ice Plant! Another great cocktail experience in st Augustine. Most impressive was the volume they were able to handle whilePreparing some labor intensive drinks! Love the restaurant Feel, service and drinks here! Highly recommend !!

My husband and I went to the Speakeasy Charlotte 33 located inside of Odd birds! We loved it! We made a reservation for a Saturday night. Very important to make a reservation. They only have reservations for the speakeasy for Friday and Saturday nights I believe. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy. The cool thing is that there is no drink menu instead the servers ask what types of liquors you like, and flavor profiles and curate drinks just for you. My husband and I tried 3 drinks each and they were all great! The presentation was also very creative as well. They are truly mixologists! They also have a food menu with Hispanic cuisine. We tried fried pork skins. I recommend checking them out!

The food was absolutely delicious! It was a very nice establishment with great ambiance!My wife and I ordered the bartender's call in which they ask us for our favorite drink profile and they make their own version of the drinks and I think that more places did that!Nina our server was phenomenal and also gave us great information about the local area and was an absolutely treat! Please check out odd birds if you are in the St. Augustine area!!

What an amazing place! My husband went for an early dinner and drinks. We could not get into the Speakeasy portion as they had an event.Our server Nina greeted us right away and helped us make our decisions for drinks and food. Both my husband and I ordered a Bartenders Call. Mine was Gin based and his was Bourbon based. Delicious and kudos to the bartender.For dinner I ordered the Cheesy Elote Gnocchi and I added Blackened Chicken. It was so much and absolutely amazing. Enough for more than one meal!What can I say about the atmosphere....eccentric and fun. The music is great and the staff are super friendly. Looking forward to returning to checkout the Speakeasy soon.

We were seated right away at the bar. Great food. Brussel Sprouts are huge and awesome! Popular unique drink menu. Bartender was amazing!

Nice place to have drinks and decent food. I would say elevated pub food and drinks. But overall fantastic. Make reservation it gets crowded early evenings specially on the weekends.

A hidden gem just over the bridge! I am so sad that it took me so long to find Odd Birds - it is one of the best spots in St. Augustine. I made a reservation for the speakeasy and it did not disappoint. We arrived 30 minutes early and grabbed a drink at the bar. It was early (5:30) and the place was already getting crowded so I knew it must be a popular spot. Definitely recommend reservations! At 6:00 we checked in with the hostess and were taken through the bookshelf into the speakeasy, which has very cool vibes. I didn't realize all drinks in the speakeasy are "bartenders choice" but we gave our preferences and our server rose melee nailed it( I'm sure I spelled her name wrong but please correct me if so because she deserves a shout out!) We ordered three apps and were planning to try a few more items but the portions were surprisingly large. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite. We had the beignets for dessert and they were amazing. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!
