Hands down the best instructions a player will receive in north Florida. Coach Mark doesn't hold back. He is a former big league player and teaches solid fundamentals of the sport. He doesn't hold a player to any particular position. ... who cares if you're a lefty. You're going to spend some time behind the plate and all positions in the in field too. Before your player is finished with NFH, he/she will be able to play any position and play it well. Coach Mark has former players who now assist him with the different teams. He has position coaches and hitting coaches. Speaking of hitting.. Coach Mark also has an indoor hitting "academy" for rainy days. Complete with two iron mike pitching machines, a soft toss / t-ball bay and a bull pen with pitching coach (Wil) giving instruction. He takes all the 12u teams to Cooperstown at the end of the summer and it's an amazing opportunity to finish the year in style.
