So I have been trying to work at this place for many many months even when the old Manager was there I worked for Mike at main Pizza across the street. He sent me over there. She told me she was hiring then told me she didn't need any help and tried to send me to another store that was an hour and a half away from my house. I couldn't take that shift because the drive wasn't worth it for two or three days a week. It wasn't even three days it was due the weekends so I called back the other day. She answered the manager and I said are y'all hiring she said yes she said I'm only hiring for three days. I said well remember me explain myself. She's already done an interview with me. She had me take a picture of my the menu And she said yes I remember you. I said I have open availability. Three days are perfect. Great transportation I still have a picture of the menu and she said yeah I'll have you in Monday morning so I call her back. She tells me she has two or three interviews then I said OK I'll call you back Monday if I don't hear from you she said that's OK. Call her back and she says oh I'm calling people back after work for interviews. I never heard from her. I feel like this Manager does not know when she sees a good employee coming and she's all over the place, I would not recommend working for her And I have plenty of experience great transportation and open availability. I told her three days would be perfect just to get my foot in the door.

Enjoyed a really good breakfast here today. Their lunch menu also looks very tasty. Definitely a locals favorite spot. We are visiting, but we will definitely come back here again. The ingredients that they use for our breakfast were all fresh.

Norma D's Kitchen catered our end year staff luncheon today. They did a fabulous job. Loved the lasagna and the brownie bites were delicious. Thanks!

Needed a quick bite to eat while doing some business in Hastings and this place was recommended to us. The food was delicious, the waitress was very friendly, and the decor is super cute! I got a salad, which was HUGE and so good! My husband got a burger and was pretty impressed as well. If we are ever back in the area this will for sure be our go to spot!

We were bicycling on the Palatka-St Augustine Trail & stopped to eat here. It's where all the locals are eating. Only open until "2:30ish" so mainly a breakfast/lunch spot. Well worth the stop!

It used to be called Johnny's and it was wonderful. Under new management it is still outstanding. With soul food and dishes you remember from childhood you can't go wrong here.I stopped in for lunch and selected the special. Smothered pork chops with two sides. The rice n gravy and black eyed beans were fantastic. Everything is hand made and the selection is limited to five or six main dishes and lots of side to choose from. Fried chicken, meatloaf, chuck steak and other specials are offered as well as breakfast all day on Saturday. The locals take up many of the sparkling wooden tables and that is always a great sign.Easy to miss,the restaurant is located across from the bank one block north off 207. Turn at the light. Don't wink or you will miss Hastings and Norma J's

I stopped here while in the area and couldn't be happier I made the stop. The waitress recommended the beef stew which was delicious. The service was very quick and kind. Great diner style restaurant that I can't wait to come back to.

Good food, love that there is locals and excellent service! The ambiance is more of country vibe love it!

Completely random find on the way from St Augustine to Gainesville and so glad we found it. Everyone was super nice and we had the best fried chicken I can remember since I left Memphis!
