New World Food Mart Asian Market

Recently discovered New World after grabbing a bite to eat next door, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's actually fairly large, and there's a wide variety/selection of items. I can find pretty much everything I need here to create an array of different Asian cuisines, desserts, and drinks. I love that my favorite Thai tea mix is fully stocked here. The prices are fair too!So far my favorite Asian market in Jax!

This is my go-to store for Korean staple items. I go there for my red pepper paste, rice cake, dumplings, and Korean sweet potato. The store is a bit smaller than I'm used to but I'm happy they have most staple items. They also have homemade kimchi and radish, which I love. A critique is that their receipts do not show what the item is (if you ever wanted to look back at what something cost).

I'm so glad to be able to find my favorite Korean ingredients. I went there just before closing so we did a quick run through the aisles at did an exciting shopping spree! We found soup spoons, shrimp chips, pickled radish, Korean red pepper powder, seaweed snacks, and Korean rice cakes... more good stuff to get later. Next trip will be just as fun! I think the fresh vegetables and refrigerator full of kimchi is plenty enough of a reason to make my basket full, so I will maybe just need to see if they have a shopping cart or something, especially to get rice!

The store feels kind of dark but has great quality items inside. A hot food restaurant is inside and they sell fresh made items like kimchi fish cakes etc. The cashier had a pot of tea brewing that smelled so amazing I had to get a cup. The scents of cinnamon, ginger and star anise were so rich it was almost impossible to just walk past it. I came in for bimbap which was freshly made the day I purchased but was just sitting at the register, I would have liked to see it stored differently. They also have a nice selection of home goods as well.

I absolutely love shouting out New World Food Mart. It's literally the best Korean restaurant in Jax and it's tucked inside of a Korean grocery store. It's cash only and the menu is super limited but it does have the staples for your heart's content. Most menu items are $10. This is hands down the best value in Jax for kfood. This same meal at the Korean restaurant next door is double the price. I ordered the soondooboo jjigae which had a nice amount of seafood, egg and silken tofu. It's the perfect dish for the rainy weather we've had recently. If you aren't making your own, and are craving Kfood, New World Market is the best you're going to get in Jax period.

I enjoyed this place. Went here to find green tea. I was looking for loose leaf but they didn't have it near the other green teas. I enjoyed myselfTo try more snacks. Reminds me of this girls tick tok where she tried a bunch of snacks in a cornerstore.

I love cooking Asian food so it is always great when you find another spot to source ingredients. World Food Mart has a large selection of noodles, spices, sauces, teas and snacks along with many other Korean/Asian items you will not find at the regular grocery stores. I always find myself wandering around looking at some of the odd -to me- foods. The store is clean and organized. The staff are helpful and will gladly help you find your mispronounced item. Whenever I run out of Go Chu Jang I know just where to go.

Excellent selection of Korean products. The home made kimchi is superb and so is the fish cake. The customer service is prompt and efficient.
