I recently discovered this place and so far I love it. The customer service is their best asset. I got a pedicure done yesterday and I went to my job right after, I put socks on which messed up my big toe nail. I'm back today to get it fixed, to my surprise they didn't charge me. So far I'm loving this place. It's smaller than your usually nail salon, looks crowded the way it's set up, but I personally don't mind as long as I'm getting a great service. I will be back here for sure. A guy named Co did my pedicure and a girl named Natalie, I think, fixed my color today. Also, as I'm sitting here drying my toes they have been calling every customer that walks in by their name! Literally every single customer! I'm impressed, Co even remembered my name from yesterday. Like I said before this place has GREAT customer service !

This place is hit or miss.New Star Nails was my go-to nail salon for years until I moved to Fleming Island. The staff will treat you nicely and do what they can to squeeze you in if you are a walk-in, but are typically busy busy busy!This location receives 3 stars because of a few things that I did not like that I have seen/experienced. Sometimes pedicure massages were shortened, lazily applied, or completely omitted, depending on how busy they were. Gloves were not always worn, but when new employees were hired I saw more consistent glove-wearing. The last time I visited I paid for a full manicure, GEL nails, and a full pedicure. This location has always been able to match gel polish to regular polish without a problem (e.g., gel polish for hands, regular for feet). The color that I chose is a common color that I've used many times in the past. The employee didn't match my nails. During my pedicure (done before hands), I made a comment that the color doesn't seem to be the right one, but I was assured that it was. Once my hands were being painted, I made another comment and the manager, Jackie, told me, "The thing is, (my name), we don't have anything even close to that color to match your hands." I know that wasn't true, and she did, too. I looked at their options and found the color. I had them redo the polish on my feet - AND IT MATCHED! They were mad at me for having to redo the work and didn't talk to me for the rest of the visit. They charged me $60.00. Even though I paid extra for the manicure, I did not receive a hand massage and the cuticles/skin around the nails was not trimmed/cleaned up as it should have been (see photo). I no longer felt welcomed and did not return after that visit.I have had some great experiences and not-so-great experiences. I have been very happy with nice quality work, and disappointed with the poor/omitted pedicure massages. It took me years to write a review because I have had so many mixed opinons/experiences at this location.

Very good place for a pedicure. I was looking for a clean nail place that used clean tools. I am glad I found this place. The basic pedicure was exactly what I was looking for, I will be back again.

I am giving this place one star because I have to. This is my second time here, and for the second time I felt rushed, like I was a bother to them. They do not have a good selection of nail polish, and the ones available are noticeably old with dry cracks showing through. I managed to get a pedicure and a manicure with in 30 minutes, including the time it took to dry my nails. I only got one coat of polish on my feet, and the lady who did my nails stopped midway to start a pedicure on someone else! I had to say "excuse me miss" for her to turn around and tell another worker to come and finish my manicure. It was not worth the $39.00 and I will not be coming back!

I had a bad experience at a nearby salon and I tried this place. I will never go anywhere else. The employees are awesome, it is clean, and I love the way they do a manicure and a pedicure. They even offer water and wine! I recommend going here.

Would recommend this place. They aren't caught up in froo-froo gaudy decor, but they have what you need. All the services you could want including gel and waxing at prices lower than their local competitors. My favorite part about this salon is that they take their time and are very thorough, which really matters to me.

I guess you could say this is a good nail salon if you've never been to a good nail salon before. I got acrylics done and they were horrible. Super thick and not the shape I wanted at all after showing the lady a simple picture multiple times. Not to mention I had them done around noon and at 8 AT NIGHT they were STILL not dry so everything I touched ruined my nails. Simply resting my hands down on the couch left imprints of the fabric on my nails. This has never happened to me before I'm still so confused.
