New China Buffet

I ate at the lunch buffet. Everything tasted great. Specifically, I had the fried rice, spicy chicken and mushrooms, green beans, generals chicken, sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoons and egg drop soup. The owners were there talking with everyone and are just amazing people.Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to eat lunch.

We have had "take out" from here for several years and I liked it; the last two times though I had to question the meat. My chicken was like soft, spongy strips of something?!? The veggies and the sauce were tasty but thick. My guess would be the meat was coated in cornstarch. I asked on the way out and he said yes, meat seasoned then coated in cornstarch before frying. This then makes the sauce thick and clumpy, the meat soft and spongy. They were closed for Covid and then opened for take out only. About a month ago they started a lunch buffet and though they advertised "eat in", you get your order as a take out and they bring you a plate and silverware...and I was ok with that but not the coated meat. The staff was running around like crazy and friendly but the way they cook their meat changed.

The shrimp egg roll literally gushed out grease, and it only had ONE shrimp in the SHRIMP EGGROLL..my bad, It wasn't called shrimps egg roll, so they got one shrimp in the egg roll. Wonton soup was luke warm which isn't on them its on door dash, guess they're driver couldn't keep the food warm with that cigarette hanging out his mouth, should have held it closer to the food. The Wontons were doughy and very little filling. I won't be ordering from them again. Might update since I bought a plate I could heat up tomorrow....not sure it's worth the electricity to heat it up.Update-wasted the electricity to heat up general tso's chicken. It's marked as spicy it was pure sweet sauce, no heat at all. Was grossed out by the whole meal, fried rice looked old, and after the 1 shrimp eggroll yesterday, I didn't even want to stomach the other eggroll I purchased. Meal dumped in the trash. This literally is the worst food I've eaten in the area by far.

Food was typical Asian food. Carry out done its job. Would go back but need to try other venues also

This buffet is top notch! In their new location the quality of the food is met with clean and fresh decor. They have a sushi bar and teppanyaki (hibachi) station. At the Hibachi station you get to pick the fresh raw ingredients you'd like seared on the griddle and a choice of four different sauces. As a pescatarian this makes me very happy. There is a full salad bar, kids items like pizza and fried chicken, soups, fruit salad, desserts, and tons of main entree choices. The flavor, freshness and variety for very decent pricing means everyone will get their fill. That also means there might be a wait for a table, but they move the line along rather well, considering. If you don't have time to wait there's also the option to fill a box or two of take out and pay per pound, also a reasonable price. I can't wait to go back!

We've been enjoying delicious take-out meals from here for over 5 years since they were only doing takeout since the pandemic. Today we were thrilled to step inside the restaurant and enjoy their extensive and tasty buffet. The food was hot tasty and fresh, the service was excellent. They were always asking if everything was OK willing to refill your water bust your plates. Everything on the bar stayed filled. It's kind of a small buffet, but it's still worth the time, if I lived closer, I'd definitely be coming back but when I'm in the area, I plan on stopping by again

They are back with the buffet! It is as good as was five years ago. Food was fresh and service was excellent!

Service and food were both excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner and have leftovers for another two meals. Portions were very large, hot and fresh. Currently still in Covid mode, but were told they will eventually reopen their buffet after their children start school. We will definitely order from New China again!
