Ok they just opened last Monday (according to the loud convo the owner had w my neighboring table) so I'm inclined to give them some leeway. But. Dude that greeted us dropped off menus and returned w waters and never came back. He wasn't the host or anything he was waiting tables all around us but there's a serious lack of continuity. Had to drop big hints we were ready to order like stacking our menus at the table side and lots of looking around, my 11 yo daughter was asking if we should go somewhere else. Overheard at the bar "yeah they just got waters they're probably ready to order". Entree house salad we split 3 ways was much smaller and less robust than the previous operator and the dressing tasted like simple syrup with a little vinegar, try the Caesar and lmk. Ok the pizza. Not good. Ordered the "How Ya doin" sausage mushrooms peppers onions. Ok I been a professional cook for most of my life and I know how things work. You got an extensive pizza menu you gotta cut down on prep time odds are you're par baking your dough and throwing on the ingredients and then baking again. Cooking time is relevant some things are gonna heat faster than others. But. We got barely warm green peppers. Been there done that feels like someone forgot that peppers were supposed to go on this pizza and threw them on last minute. Some after notes. Waiters don't know the wine and beer lists. Served the scalding pizza without a spatula (had to ask for one, "they're not in the bucket they're usually in") presented with 6 inch plates for an 18 inch pizza you do the math here. Watched another table continuously served beer with 3 inches of head. Very loud opera on the sound system. Overall it seems like there's some good intentions here but they need to refocus on training and consistency. I'll give Vince's another shot in a couple months and let you know if they've worked out the kinks

There is a slight problem with understaffing, however the food is satisfactory, and the staff is always very friendly. The restaurant has a nice cozy ambiance. If you go you must get the garlic knots

No stars! This restaurant used to be very good but they closed after Covid. Now new owners have taken over so we gave it a try. I ordered baked ziti thinking it was a dish that was hard to mess up. Well, I was very wrong! I have had a frozen lean cuisine that tasted better. First of all, it was not baked which means it was not even hot and hardly any sauce and the mozzarella on top was barely melted. It was served on a plate which is not how baked ziti should be served! It's usually in a casserole type dish that is either metal or ceramic and has been in the oven to "bake". Well, bottom line is that it was so horrible that I didn't eat it and sent it back. It was the worst food I've ever tasted (even in Florida). On our way out the table next to us had a pizza and we glanced to see how it looked and it was definitely undercooked and did not look appetizing at all

I've been going to Napolis for a couple of years but today was the first time that we went after the new owners took over. I'm giving it four stars but it's probably 4.5. I went with some hungry teenage boys. The service was excellent. Warm, friendly, and attentive. They made some minor changes to the restaurant but mostly cosmetic so it had the same NJ feel. We started with buffalo wings. They were fantastic. Minor criticism, we wanted medium spice and there was basically no heat at all, but the flavor and crispiness of the wings was great so not a big deal. One of the boys got a calzone and it was perfect. Cooked well, filled well, delicious!! We ordered a couple of pies also and they took a little while to come but we figured that they were made to order so we were ok with that. The pizza was good. Typical NJ style thin crust. Another minor criticism, one of the pies was a margarita but there was very little basil on it. I would have liked more but again, the overall flavor and presentation was great so not a big deal. This is a mom and pop place so I will always support them. They can tighten up in a few areas but a great neighborhood pizzeria. I hope the community supports them.
