Nannas Country Cafe

Nice local restaurant. Friendly. Decent food. Breakfast any time.Local hangout.Been eating there about 15 years.

This is one of two cafe restaurants in the area for a breakfast option. The other was closed so decided to try Nanna's and it was pretty busy with the locals. It is an older "hole in the wall" cafe/diner so don't expect the decorations to wow you. Apparently, the original founder is no longer running the place. The staff was friendly and quick to serve. Breakfast was good and bountiful. Biscuits were heavy and dense...I will get the toast next time.

Stopped by this afternoon. Ordered the 2 piece white meat fried chicken. Waitress came back and said they only had dark meat. Was also offered Texas toast or garlic bread. That caught me off guard since those aren't really "country" types of bread. Was expecting corn bread or biscuits. My meal came and the mashed potatoes tasted like the boxed instant potatoes. Kinda disappointed in my entire meal.

Food was small portions for a big price. Service was not great. It is pretty bad when you leave hungry! Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and go to True Grits down the road.

A hole in the wall that will serve good food and treat you well. Best resteraunt in Interlachen by far.

Food wasn't tasty, tasteless like poured out of a can. Not very clean. Person at the register was like she was doing me a favor waiting on me

Great food stopped by on way back to Newberry. Excellent service - we had grilled ham and cheese with tater tots my cousin had a hamburger steak just as good if not better than any steakhouse. Will stop again. Quick service

Food is wonderful. Pancakes, French toast, and a particular favorite is Chicken and dumplings. Coffee is a little on the thin side, but acceptable.

Very slow ....when food came out it was very greasy and, the only way to make it taste better was to add hot sauce. Not very clean inside.. the floor was nasty the tables weren't cleaned. It took 20 minutes just for my food to come out and the chef was not wearing gloves all I know I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I don't live around here but I come around to spend time with my family and friends by the lake ! I know what good home cooking is ! This place was amazing ! I ordered pancakes and bacon with grits with toast and home made biscuits! My husband got the omelet with hash browns and smoked sausage! There was plenty of food for the whole table ! It was great tasting and came out fast ! It was cooked perfectly! I most definitely will be visiting again!
