Murray's Tavern

Murray's Tavern is a cool enough dive bar that embraces all that your typical dive bar should be. It has a couple of pool tables, the no-frills type ambiance and the bartenders are friendly enough as they serve you up some cold drinks.Bars are an integral part of our society. They are places to gather in good times and bad. In fact, if you think about it, during the Revolutionary War, our fledgling Continental Congress met in taverns.All in all, I would definitely recommend Murray's Tavern if you are looking for that dive bar experience.

The bar staff are very friendly and nice. I was very clean and for a smoking bar it didn't smell like smoke. They have 2 pool tables and 4 dartboards and host tournaments for both. They also have bar bingo one day a week and the cards are a dollar a card. The beer is cheap and cold. If you're looking for a dive bar to hit up this is your place.

You would think the crowd here would be military since it's right across from the base but it's mostly friendly bikers and lots of locals. They have two pool tables that takes quarters and a jukebox that you can pay to play. They only serve beer and wine; some foods are available but Big Man BBQ is usually here on Friday nights and they also have pool league on the same night. Smoking is allowed so keep that in mind.

So happy to have found this hidden gem! It is located in old Uptown Yukon. This is a dive bar and you can smoke inside. Limited food selection- I've had the corn nuggets on two different visits, both times freaking amazing. **cash only bar. They do have an ATM inside. You really can't beat the prices- Sunday night is $1.50 domestic bottles all day. Friday is ladies night 241. They have two pool tables, a few tvs. A popcorn machine and typically complimentary hotdogs. Tons of parking available. Friendly bartenders. Seems to be a big locals place- but the three times I've been I've felt nothing but welcomed.

New to the area and was looking for a "Classic" Dive bar. We hit a home run stopping into Murray's. Bartender Kat/Cat was super friendly and the few patrons at the bar were just as welcoming. Will definitely be stopping by again. Great job Murray's!!!!

Great place and very COLD BEER!!!Stopped in after lunch next door. Yes it's a dive but hey!! Those are the best places. 1st time here and now I know where to visit again.

Cold beer , best warm and friendly service you can get! Karaoke , Bingo , Darts and Pool tournaments on the weekend. The owners and staff make you think that you are family. This place is amazing. The beer is incredibly cold like so cold it makes my nipples hard. The lighting is perfect nice and dim to compliment the classiness of this place. I could literally get fucked up here all day. I think I will.
