This is a nice park in my neighborhood that I've been coming to for about 10 years. It has a small playground for kids and is pet-friendly complete with doggy poop bag stations and plenty of room for Rover to run. I particularly like the spaced-out park benches for a nice rest from walking the neighborhood and privacy when you're off Pokémon hunting. The paved walking/jogging trail is perfect for visitors with plenty of shade and trees during the hotter months. I don't believe there are any restrooms or water fountains around or at least I didn't see any. Just be careful in the early evenings and when the sun goes down because I have heard some unsavory stories regarding sketchy characters hanging out here over the years. Always be aware of your surroundings....

Four Corners Park is just a hop, skip and a jump from my residence. The park provides a path which is great for joggers, dog walking, or for those little ones looking for a safe place to learn how to ride a bike. With a few benches scattered about and lots of shade from giant, lofty trees, it is an excellent place to take your current book to read for awhile. Three of the four corners contain paths, while the fourth is an open field. A great place for a pick up game of football or soccer. The park could possibly benefit from the addition of a playground, although, that could take away from the serenity of this park. The traffic is never bad through this area since the majority sticks to Post Street. Also, if you take your dog and forget a plastic bag, no worries! There are different stations around the park that have a supply. Trash cans accompany these, so you can throw it away.

One of kept secrets in the neighborhood. For years prior to moving to Murray Hill I would come to the area for Moon River Pizza, Dreamette and the theatre (as a teenager). I never knew there was such a gem of a park. It is big and full of trees and open green spaces. Nothing fancy here, but a peaceful large place to visit in a great neighborhood!

Please people of Jacksonville...stop labeling regular parks as DOG PARKS. This is a lovely park but there are no areas specifically for dogs.
