I now work across the street from MG. I called my order in and then walked over to pick it up. The BLT was delicious and huge! I could only eat half of my sandwich, so I shared the other half with a co-worker who did not have lunch that day. We both enjoyed the BLT & the potato salad. I look for to visiting them occasionally. I usually bring my lunch from home. Pros:close by my officeNice peopleCon:the "WALK" light takes to longPotato salad was okay.

Have been going to Mudville for a few years now. We went tonight after not going for a while. A few months ago we had a string of not amazing food experiences BUT wanted to give them another try since they are our neighborhood sports bar. I am only reviewing on tonights experience. It was wonderful. The food and service met expectations tonight. We ordered 2 draft beers (bud light 20 oz $4 and Yuengling 20 oz. $4). You can beat those prices. They updated their specials board from a white board to a screen. Its a little hard to read from a distance but it adds a nice modern flair to the place. My husband ordered the pork shank (on the specials board $11.99) and I had the Fish Ruben (regular menu $13.99) both were amazing. The pork shank wings were fall off the bone and in a really nice teriyaki sauce. I tried one...then asked for another! My fish ruben was served very hot and the fish was CRISPY! The bread and fish did not get soggy with the dressing and coleslaw on it! The fish was a light white fish and the batter was light and well seasoned. Not too salty but not bland. We both decided that Mudville is back in our restaurant rotation!

The southwest chicken wrap was okay but the ranch was awesome. Do not order the onion rings, it's like they took Funyuns and deep fried them. All filler, no onion. The cherry malt was awesome!

Great service and food was good and well priced. It's a bar with a kitchen for gods sake, not Orsay! Great burgers and the shrimp basket was big and all was affordable. For a party of 15, no complaints about the 2 waitresses who served us and got each bill correct. It's a bar once again and for the type of establishment it was clean and respectable. So you want fancy smancy, go some place else.

Had a fun time at the music room seeing the sauce boss the other day. How fun is that that they are pulling in cool little music acts!The room is laid out pretty nicely although in my humble opinion the music room should be more dim, everybody knows people drink more when it's dim inside. The decorations are decent and the fixtures and furniture are OK. The bartender was friendly enough and we sat at the bar and ordered food. The pickle chips are super salty we couldn't finish them, the conch fritters were pretty good. The fried mushrooms were standard coming from Sysco fare. Nothing on the menu really appeared to be special it was just very standard run-of-the-mill bar food. You're not gonna come here for the food. I'm excited and another little musical trying to pull in quirky little acts from around the country. The sound in the room was pretty good although I think the musician brought his own sound system, although maybe not because there was a sound guy in the back of the room. Parking wasn't too bad, less traumatic than I expected it to be. The crowd was an interesting mix mostly older people which you don't see too often so that was fun also. The beer selection was OK, your standard Budweiser and Miller light types +2 local beers on tap. They do not have hard water. The girl didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for it. Oh and they charge $.35 for a 1 ounce plastic. ramekin of ranch dressing. Come for the music not the food.

Hate to write this since we went the other afternoon and had a lovely server on a Sunday morning at the bar.... However tonight was the complete opposite experience and we most likely will not be back. The bartender, charlotte i believe, was totally unwelcoming, Whiney and awful with customer service skills. Complained the whole time we were there about having to work, drank on the job and gave zero f***s about making people feel welcomed. She only tended to her regulars, which she was complaining to the entire time as well and wouldn't even look at us while she "graciously" took our order. Food was just okay,but so off-put by the service that we left with a bad taste in our mouth. Like I said however, we had a lovely lady the other afternoon that was sweet, efficient and knew how to make a customer feel comfortable. Maybe we will stick to Sunday mornings.

There are actually two sides to this restaurant. The listening room is actually for music and it is not always open. The cover charge is for particular events not for the restaurant, but the performer themselves. Typically the crowd is there to listen to music not party at the bar. But lucky for those that do want to party at the bar...You can go to the other side... The sports bar side and be loud and chat and have a good time! And there is no cover charge. The staff is friendly and accommodating! Get the Louis style wings. They are the best!

Although I love the service at Mudville Grille, I am disappointed, for the second time, that the bar area has been turned into a listening room! Last Saturday night I met a friend there to catch up and discovered that there was a cover charge because they had live music, which I love! I was excited to hear whats been going on with my friend, we ordered drinks and started talking, only for a woman with a recording device to chastise us like children for talking. I mean finger to the lips and shushing noises. We were told that the BAR AREA was a listening room only, no talking allowed while the performance is being conducted. We promptly left. Who wants to pay $15 to be chastised and treated like a child? Furthermore, aren't concerts supposed to be loud with people having fun? This happened a couple of years ago on a saturday night when a little girl was singing gospel music! Gospel music in a bar sang by a child! So much for having a good time at this place. I don't think we will be going back.
