I have to agree with Bill N. My first experience at Mr. Snapper's (at their old location) was epic! I was really looking forward to the shrimp basket ($8.99) I ordered via DoorDash and when it arrived, I was surprised to see how small the shrimp were and not as good as I remembered. It came with a vinegar based hot sauce on the side, but it was OK. I don't know what happened?! Should I have ordered something else???I'm giving them 2-Stars as I write this review because I know from past experience, they could've been better. And I will probably order the calamari and/or chicken wings next time because I want to support local and I know these guys can do much better than this one experience.

The first time here, this place was on point!! We came the past weekend to what we expected was another great experience. This unfortunately didn't happen. We ordered the catfish & shrimp plates and quickly realized after biting into the fillets that the catfish was still raw. The outside was crispy but the meat still needed some love. Maybe the oil was to hot or something but not a good visit. Looking for that first time experience again.....

I went there one day and one of the cooks dropped a piece of fish on the floor. He picked it up and put it in the flour and fried it. What's crazy is he looked me in my eyes while he was doing it. Just disgusting!!!

Chicken wings be smelling old. Fish and tartar sauce taste like water. They charge extra to use your debt card. I'll rather go to Jax wings down the street.

This location on Edgewood is total scum. They have been given multiple chances to provide excellent customer service and failed each time. This last time was the last straw. I ordered the fish sandwich special and there was no sandwich in the container just the fish; they have little girls that just came off their grandma's porch taking orders WRONG, nobody has time for foolishness if you want to run a business remember that your cashier is the face of your business and if they lack communication skills they should be washing dishes or sweeping the floor! I told them to just give me the bread and condiments and I'll make my own sandwich and she went and got the manager (foreigner) just to tell me to give the food back so they can make me a sandwich -so you want food I've already touched to go back through a window and your going to put your dirty hands on my food and slap the same fish on bread? Absolutely NOT, no thank you. I will never return to that trash service giving, no hospitality having, foreign liar, deceiving crappy, ill-mannered piece of slime place every again and I pray that they are replaced by a restaurant that has customer satisfactory meetings and restaurant development ASAP. Trash trash trash, if I wasn't saved I would of threw the food in his face.

The food is really good here - I've had their chicken tenders and gizzards. The place is clean, and the service is friendly and professional.

Never ever again!!! I ordered from these people and got Fish and Fries and also Wings , gizzards and fries . The gizzards was disgusting. I thought I was eating overcooked human body parts or a foreign over cooked animal that's wasn't a damn gizzard. Which Gizzards is what i ordered! they were so hard . Gizzard's are not supposed to be cooked like that . My boyfriend even said they were hard and said "WTF" when he bit it SMH . The wings was soggy as well as both of my sides of fries . Never ordering from this place again yall suck .

Don't eat here they're unsanitary they'll drop a piece of chicken and put it right back on your plate i witnessed it with my own eyes and the bathrooms are filthy
