Mr Flounder Fish Chicken Shrimp

I recently visited Mr. Flounders Drive Thru at 7850 Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville, FL, and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. I ordered a 3-piece whiting dinner without lemon pepper seasoning. Without the seasoning, the fish was simply coated in flour and grease, lacking any flavor or appeal. This approach seems to be a common practice in Jacksonville, but what was particularly unacceptable was receiving two tilapia filets instead of whiting. This substitution felt intentional and disrespectful to me as a customer. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment and I have serious concerns about the integrity of their offerings. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I hate posting low star reviews, but honestly-it was not good. The onion rings got tossed/thrown away. My chicken tenders were not good, thrown away. The mango drink was way too sweet-got thrown out. Now, the fries and the shrimp were good. I do know they are fairly new and I hope they are successful, in time. But, they have to kick it up a notch. The young man was very nice to me. But, looking through the drive through window, I thought he was going to kill the other employee. He was yelling and waving his hands around and so frightfully scary to me! I did see them putting together a huge platter in a tin dish and it looked good. Don't let my review influence you in any way. Give them a chance and check them out. Pros-shrimp and fries were good. Drive through convenience. Price. Cons-the man's angerThe tiny tenders and flavorlessOnion rings-NO GO. Banana pudding had no bananas that I could see. I will revisit them sometime in the future to see if things improve. Hoping so. Then I will hope to give more stars and an updated review. Recommend-maybe

Packaging without ventilation resulted in soggy seafood...scallops fell out of batter/breading upon picking up...food tasted strange, not palatable and didnt seem fresh ---not season so extreme bland. Highly disappointed... great value regarding cost.... but waste of money because unable to eat it. Would have preferred each part of the four be separated.... hard to tell which was gizzards and which were oysters because all piled on top of each other. Because of the strong bland fishy taste of oysters wanted to just have gizzards but kept getting oyster. Epic fail

The catfish and shrimp is delicious! I went 2 days in a row. Prices not bad either. Everything is hot and fresh.

Recently tried Mr. Flounders and it is very similar to Mr. Snappers. Wings were a little smaller than Mr. Snappers but it is still a very good spot to eat at. Service is great.

Great service and the food is very affordable and delicious. The Shrimp, Snapper, Liver, Wings, Mushrooms, and Okra I have ordered and enjoyed.
