How this filthy dump remains open is a bit of a mystery. I know very few who will eat here and it is filthy and in disrepair. The kitchen is crawling with roaches and they are crawling in your food too. An acquaintance used to work there and said the same of the time she spent there. The food is absolutely disgusting....the fries look like limp dead worms. I wouldn't even touch them. The fish....eeew. Soggy and ice cold in the middle. Wings--you can keep them.Now lets talk about the bartenders and waitstaff. The two times I was dragged there to eat the servers had a funereal pall and were about as friendly as wet rags....but then again maybe I would be too if I worked for that woman with the ever delightful personality (at least in my experience) who is said to have married the owner. Both her and her male colleague behind the bar (I was informed he is was not the lucky groom) are RUDE to customers for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It is as if they are doing one a colossal favor by serving them a poorly made drink from one their dirty, buggy liquor bottles being to take a break from making rude cracks about the customers seated right in front of them. Sarcastic, disrespectful, a touch racist (for making off color comments to an Asian man at the bar) yet still expecting a tip? Adios! Then co-owner screams at closing time how she is going to throw everyone out (Was that a threat or a promise?) One night I arrived to pick up a friend who had called me. She needed someone to drive her home. As I walked in she greeted me with "get the $%%# out!", which mind you, it wasn't personal. She was just on a rampage yelling at everyone. I respectfully as possible informed her I would be departing as soon as I retrieved the person I came to get and not another moment sooner. I noticed the crowd in there late at night leans toward aggressive so I had no intentions on hanging around. On the unfortunate occasions that I have visited Mother's this woman is disrespectful and foul mouthed without cause toward anyone who crosses her path. I cannot imagine the amount of energy she must expend. Why not put that energy into cleaning the kitchen and the bar, fixing up the interior, training the waitstaff and making Mother's welcoming to people other than their cult followers who for some reason like this place. Would that be so awful??

When you think dive bar, this is the place that comes to mind. Is it rundown and in need of renovation? Yes. Is it not the cleanest place around? Yes. But this place has been around in Gainesville and it will always remind me of Gainesville. The server I had was great and super friendly. The food might not be amazing, but when the Friday night special is $5 cheeseburgers and $3 Long Islands, they are fantastic for that price. When I'm coming here, I'm not coming for ambiance. I come here for cheap food, cheap drinks, and to relive my college experience. And in that regards, they check every box :)

We went on St Patrick's day, so I look forward to redoing this on a regular day. The crowd management was poor, the waitress held a table for her friends who came in behind the groups waiting and told everyone to find their own tables and if they didn't like it to go somewhere else. I found a guy leaving and went to stand by his table, I made small talk with the guy while he waited for his bill. He offered to let my wife and I sit with him while he waited. The waitress then came over and told me I was being rude for rushing the guy and told us to go stand back at the door. We were served by a different waitress who was nice. The food was good, the prices were fine and the Irish music and dancing was fun, they mostly made up for how bad the service started.

I've only gone for the 55 cent wing deal on Monday. The wings are great but too saucy, but the price is so cheap that I don't mind it. There was only one waitress during lunch time since it wasn't busy but she was great despite taking care of many tables. The flavors tasted very similar and I couldn't tell which was which but they all tasted good.

My wife and three grandchildren came here today and I'm not sure what bug crawled up there server's behind but she was beyond rude. She kept harping on their order of wings and then wanted to whine about refilling their drinks. I won't publish her name, but if someone wants to reach out I will let them know. Wings and fries were great, Her attitude was not.

Awful food. Worst bar food in town. (Good job the music can be great!)Fish and chips were truly gross. We all had the same gray fries -- oily and floppy. Couldn't eat them. Overcooked tiny piece of fish burned on the outside. Salad soggy and swimming in dressing. Everyone at our table was disappointed. Won't be ordering food again. The safest bet appeared to be the personal pizzas. Go to NW Grille next door first! Amazing fish and chips. (And everything.)

I recommend a good cleaning , some fresh paint and some staff training and a modern menu . Bartenders don't know how to make basic cocktails .Be fair to the musicians performing and do some online promoting . The schedule is hard to find , the event calendar does not work on the website , and sometimes not posted on social media and almost never has detail of the genra of music or clips of the music .I'll be happy to post a good review when anything changes for the better . I will still come for a beer and live music but will spend minimally .

Use to be a regular here at least twice a week stop going about 7-8 months ago because food quality dived and pitchers beer always flat!! Went to night 10/28 for .50 wings and a pitcher of beer. So for the same flat beer they use charge $11 for is now $17 you would think they could at least serve beer that's not flat you post a customer guess it's back the og

A nice fish and chips. If you have a taste for fish and chips, stop by. 2 fish filets, fries and cole slaw.

service was terrible, the waitresses don't know anything and the food is lazy I didn't even like it drunk
