Great lunch place. At night they have blues bands to entertain you. We had onion rings, a two meat platter including St. Louis spareribs and brisket . Two sides were Mac n cheese and a salad. Our server David was attentive, pleasant and followed up with us along our way to enjoying our BBQ lunch. The place makes you think you are in Texas. Try it out and enjoy. Btw- they have beautiful as you walk in.

The restaurant itself is really nice inside with plenty of seating inside. The food is actually really good. My wife got the Turkey sandwich with Mac-n-cheese and I got the Mojo club and fries. The club was huge! I could only eat one half of it. The 3 start rating is service and food wait. I counted maybe 10 tables and One or 2 servers. No refills, I had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill.

The whiskey selection is so impressive, it can be overwhelming at first glance, and they have a good selection of barrel picks to choose from. The food is also outstanding, whether you're in the mood for traditional BBQ, smoked wings, or catfish. There's usually a seat available at the bar on Saturday nights, which is perfect for me.

I normally don't write reviews for takeout meals because I just can't feel the vibe of the place, but I could feel the aura of the MOJO Brisket Sandwich from a mile away.I wanted a clean option after an all day bender on the 4th of July, so opted to get the brisket sandwich with a side salad for lunch. I'll admit, not my cleanest choice... could have been a lot worse though. I don't know why red meat gets such a bad rap... plus a salad instead of the mac? I'm God's strongest soldier.The sandwich came FULLY LOADED with dense, savory brisket. The bun didn't stand a chance to contain that amount of tender, juicy meat. You can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him.The brisket quite literally melted in my mouth... drizzled a little of their bbq sauce on there too... Vet move. Back again. Seated right away! Caitlin was absolutely amazing! Our orders were correct and drinks were always full! The service is always good, the food delicious and as always I know I can have a gluten free meal without worry!

Seated right away on a Thursday night around 6:45.Daughter had the shrimp app as her meal (super good) and a side of macaroni and cheese.I had the Mojo Salad with brisket- only a couple pieces of fat which is to be expected. Otherwise lean and flavorful. Cucumbers, tomatoes- both crisp and fresh. Yummy jalapeño cornbread croutons. Huge salad- became two meals.Missed happy hour, but they offer a great one with beer and mixed drinks, plus some seasonal drinks.

Very calming and electric atmosphere. I went during lunch so no live music but I'm confident dining with music would be a great experience. A lot of music themed art all over the walls.The star of the hour, The Shrimp and Grits! Eaten separately it's good, seasoned enough but good. Grit n 1 shrimp, good. Shrimp n bacon, good. Bacon n tomato, good. Scoop 1 component of everything in the bowl and hands down the best Shrimp n Grits in Jacksonville! Bourbon selection is best in JAX area! Great choices and opportunity to taste some rare and pricey bourbons at a good price. BBQ is always a hit. Bar attendant lacks sales and customer service skills. She got a % tip reduction as I would have liked an after dinner drink and desert. Her lose. And the owners lose. Oh well.

Absolutely horrible service. Picked up a to go order and the food was wrong. Instead of apologizing the 20 year old server had an attitude about it. Just a miserable experience. We get home and this is the "Texas Toast" that came with the meal. Brisket was dry. At least the hot links were good. We won't go back.

Good food. service can hit or miss. Slightly overpriced but worth visiting every once in a while
