As I'm sitting here preparing to write this review by pulling up Mimi's menu in another window, my mouth is already salivating simply *remembering* the crepes we ordered. ::sigh:: Mimi's is a creperie serving a diverse menu of both sweet AND savory crepes. For those not in the know, crepes are very thin pancakes that are cooked to order and folded with a variety of other ingredients, creating (you guessed it) both sweet and savory dishes. My partner and I shared the chicken florentine, hoping for something small and simple to tide us over until our dinner reservation. We thought it would be something paltry and pathetic. What landed in front of us was so delicious that we inhaled it in less than 5 minutes. Every. Single. Ingredient. In this crepe was cooked to perfection and combined in exquisite proportions. My kids got the strawberry & nutella crepes and they inhaled those, too. "Quelle surprise!" The second best part of Mimi's is the not-so-secret garden in the back for patrons of Mimi's and the adjoining pretzel shop. It is a gorgeously shaded area out back between the buildings, with benches, tables, awnings, glorious tree shade, and more. It is truly magical back there. (Psssst, help keep it that way please!)You might think any food stops along this tourist trap stretch are going to sub-par, but I assure you Mimi's is an oasis from the gawdy and bright, in more ways than one!

The Classic Strawberry crepe is a fan favorite, filled with fresh strawberries and your choice of Nutella or rich French cream cheese--a perfect balance of fruity and creamy flavors. For chocolate lovers, the Chocolate Déjà Vu is a must: Nutella, chocolate brownie pieces, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce come together in a dessert that's both dreamy and satisfying.Mimi's also offers a selection of wine and beer to complement the meal, all in a lush, secluded garden where you can unwind and enjoy live music. The crapes were delicious here! Their workers were fairly young and were having their own conversations when I walked in. A young girl greeted me and there was already a crêpe on the wheel. I asked for her to make me a fresh crêpe, and there was a bit of discrepancy as to whether or not I would take the old crêpe, lol I asked her to make a new one so that I can see it from scratch and show my toddler. Anyhow, once she understood what I was asking, she made me a new one. I thought that was a part of the whole experience? Anyway, I think the crêpe was 12 or $13 And I thought it was a little pricey, but given that it is on St. George Street, it is expected. I probably wouldn't go back again just because it would've been perfect if there was a scoop of ice cream with it. Overall, though, great texture.

I come here every time I visit St. Augustine. This crepe shop has both sweet and savory crepes for any taste you're craving. The short rib crepe is so tender and filling, and I love the egg that melts over it. All of the sweet crepes are delicious, you can't go wrong with ordering any that suit your taste. There's a seating area outside the back of the restaurant and we've never had a problem finding seating. I'd definitely recommend Mimi's if you're walking around downtown St. Augustine!

Craving something sweet? Stop at Mimi's Famous Crepe. Looking for a savory crepe? Mimi's Famous Crepe also has you covered. Take a breather and walk through their store and find a seat in the most serene gardens I've ever found. And don't worry about the sun or sweating, it's practically 100% shaded from the trees and other plants.

The rundown: flavors to fit any tastebuds with a surprisingly relaxing and almost magical ambiance await! The review:The outside doesn't appear to be much. I just wanted to try some crepes. Much to my surprise what appeared to be a cute little counter store turned out to include a magical garden area for dining and relaxing! The cook was very friendly, offering stellar suggestions and made some of the best crepes I have had.If you are looking for something filling, whether savory or sweet, this is a great place to visit. The pricing is reasonable and you will find yourself enjoying unique flavors and atmosphere to enhance your Saint Augustine visit!

Crepes: the crepe itself was phenomenal. The ingredients were eh. Seemed like processed, sugary, sauces and the meat seemed low quality. I'd give them a 3/4. Staff: so nice and helpfulPricing: okOutdoor seating: so cute. Although the signage seemed dramatic lol

Mimi's Crepes is a must stop for St. Augustine. Whether you like sweet or savory flavors, they always have something for you. I had "Le Caprese" and it was so fresh and well made. The woman at the front took extra care to make the plates look appetizing (of course without knowing I would write a review). The eating area is such a highlight of the restaurant. If it's a busy day in St. Augustine the streets can get VERY crowded and this is the perfect place to sit down, have a drink and a crepe and relax for a while. It's so quiet and peaceful in the back, it's exactly what you need. Highly recommend!

We go here all the time when we visit St. Augustine. The food is fluffy and we normally get it served warm so it's made fresh and it tastes really good. The service is impressive they have a small kitchen in the back with a few employees but even when they are busy they serve in a timely manner, they even offer the garden in the back and they will bring you your food. The ambiance is calming if you choose to eat in the garden but the hustle and bustle of St. Augustine has a historical fee around it. Whether you sit in the garden or take your crepes to go you will still have an amazing experience and the crepes just add to it!!!!
