Their Oreo Shake is ridiculously delicious!!!It's a little pricy but oh man, it's soooo good! It's about 9.7 miles from my house and there's a few times I really considered riding my bike there to justify getting one of those Oreo shakes.I don't know how many calories it has but it's probably enough to blow someone's diet out of whack :)The staff is always friendly and service is fairly quick. They do get really busy on segments so be patient when you happen to go there when everybody & their mother decides to go too.Place is clean and very inviting so sit and enjoy your frozen treat of choice.

After 3 official visits, I'm way overdue for a review. I originally tried this specific locations ice cream on one of their media days when they first opened, and immediately in love! Fast forward two visits later - they've expanded to offer even more flavor options. Milkster now has sorbet! I was so thrilled to see this. I love both regular ice cream, and fruity sorbet. Having both in one location is a real treat! (Don't worry, dairy free is another option as well) This limited time lime really hit the spot for any tart lovers out there. You could see tiny lil flecks of Real lime in the sorbet. This was extraordinarily delicious. The fact that this store stays open late deserves a round of applause. Once Covid happened in Jax years back, businesses shortened their hours and never really expanded to being open as late as they previously were. Jacksonville got all old on us. But not this ice cream shop! They stay open late and welcome customers up until the very last minute. Families were rolling in on a Friday night. I was so happy to see business was booming. I also loved seeing their collaboration with other small businesses in the area. Milkster moved in and immediately started making friends with their warm, welcome, and friendly attitude. They recently teamed up with Got Flowers Jax to make rose sorbet (with actual real roses in the sorbet!) How innovative! And a great way to bring a sense of community to light. I love when businesses go in on an idea together to really make a unique experience for their city. You can feel the love in Milkster! Give it a try if you have yet to try it. It's a very cool experience to watch, the staff is so wonderful, and the unique shop has some pretty cool history to it.

Fun concept. My son loves visiting this place. What seems like an unlimited number of combinations makes milkster great for all taste and ages. I've visited 4 times, and the staff has always been ready to help.

One of our fav places and the amazing service just makes it worth it. We usually just do custom flavors and the sweet cream base is superior. Can't wait to come back

Great place for an ice cream experience. They have a large area for sit down with a TV and a large area out front to also enjoy your treat. So many flavors combos to choose from and then add more toppings when the ice cream baristas are finished. Service is -be patient because this is a process well worth waiting for the outcome. This place is hopping so a wait may happen, but it's REALLY worth it. Very clean inside with a great ambiance. Needs more than 5 stars

Cute little spot on the corner on Hendricks Road. Parking is free on the side and back of the building. It's kinda self-serve. You pick a cup size add cream base( sweet cream, pineapple and dole, chocolate or banana pudding), then hand it over to the person behind the counter. There you can watch the mixer and nitrogen pour. It's $6.33 for a small. I chose sweet cream base with fruity pebbles on bottom and topped it with some more pebbles and lots of cinnamon to offset the sugar, lol.6 tablespoons and a couch gave plenty of room for seating. Nice place, definitely would bring the kids.

I worked in the ice cream industry for several years so I have high standards when it comes to ice cream. I stopped by with a friend after dinner on a Wednesday evening when the temp was around 40 degrees. They had several people in the store - so it was busy . The owners were both working. They were so friendly. I saw an article in the Jax Daily Record about this place coming and wanted to give it a try. You build your own recipe then they freeze it for you using liquid nitrogen. It's more creamy than some of the any premium ice cream I've ever had.My Recipe:* Banana pudding base (not always available) and asked for recommendations of what to put in the mix. * I ended up using cheesecake, vanilla wafers and toasted coconut. * Afterwards I topped mine with a bit of marshmallow cream, marshmallows and chopped nuts.My friend decided to go with the brownie recipe from their recipe wall.I was impressed with the serving size (regular size) and the taste. Both our servings were AMAZING! It was so creamy and the banana pudding base was full of flavor. I can't wait to go back again. I'm glad this place is not on my way back from work - I would gain 100 pounds this year.

This place is so fun! You literally make your own ice cream. Basically you mix a bunch of things you may find in a Ben and Jerry's ice cream mix and then you have a juice machine of base flavors. They mix it up in a fancy KitchenAid stand mixer and dump in a bunch of liquid nitrogen to freeze it up. Super fun gimmick! Definitely worth a try. Then at the end you get toppings like your regular ice cream or froyo shop (self serve). So, I'll admit. The regular size cup seemed small to begin with but I didn't realize how much the crystalization happened when freezing, and it was SO MUCH ICE CREAM by the end. My friend came along with me and got one too, and she also couldn't finish her portion. With the pricing and show, this place is well worth it's price! The shop itself is incredibly clean and nicely decorated. It gives you a sort of comfy modern cafe vibe to it. Which I think is what they're going for. They do sell coffee, and there's a couch in the front, perfect for those cafe study bunnies out there. There's also a private room area where I think would be perfect for birthdays and personal events. Or as a quiet study area away from others. The stores down the street are still empty and need to be built out. I can imagine the San Marco fancy town center shopping area extending down here and creating a nice shopping center. There's a bunch of parking in the back and a walkup window for fast orders. Not a drive through but walkup so I think they're anticipating the same expansion. My only concern is that there is a lack of PPE with regards to the liquid nitrogen. As someone who works with it frequently, if there were too many customers and not enough hands on deck, I'd worry about safety. And, I can see this place becoming quite popular as this part of town builds out. Finally to end on a good note. If any of the older ladies are into eye candy, you can definitely tell the owner used to be one of those popular kids when he was younger. Sweets for your tummy and eyes all around, haha.

This is a nice little spot nestled in San Marco. Although this spot is in between two ice cream giants Dreamette and Jerimiahs, it adds a touch of variety bringing the nitrogen effect to the scene. My kids begged me to stop here, and their school put on a fundraiser where a portion of the proceeds went to their school. The folks working were nice and helped us out making decisions and with toppings, and you can watch the nitrogen do the rest. Definitely Looking forward to seeing how Milkster does once it takes off!
