Mike's Yum Yum Come Get Ya Sum

Come home and this was the food truck in our neighborhood. The food is large portions and taste perfectly seasoned. We recommend this truck for events.

I always want to check out new food trucks, and this one caught my eye for lunchtime at the Urban Food Court downtown. I decided to order the Yum Yum chicken sandwich with a side of Excalibur fries. The chicken was seasoned well, almost like a shawarma chicken or Mediterranean chicken. It paired well with the tomatoes, lettuce, and onion in the pita bread. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. I was pleased with my lunch and hope to have them again soon!

I'm so thankful for all the yummy food trucks coming into my neighborhood the last several months. I had the pleasure of trying Mike's Yum Yum Come Get Ya Sum for the first time today. A newer food truck to Jax that opened shop in January. I asked for the top sellers and was advised the Yum Yum chicken and beef sandwiches. Both were described as having marinated meat. I went with the Yum Yum beef ($9) with pepper jack cheese (provolone is also a choice) and a side of fries ($2.50). The marinated Angus beef was deliscious! It was tender and juicy and bursting with seasoning. The only thing I didn't like about the sandwich was there were no toppings (I didn't think to ask). Next time I will ask for lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. I added mayo at home. On a positive, I'm not a big fry fan but I did like the style and flavor of Mike's. I heard several of my neighbors ordering wings. I will have to try those next time. The service was friendly and fast! If you see this truck around town give them a try!

Was an Treaty Park with my kids, daughter ordered tenders and hotdog(I was standing a few feet away watching while keeping my one year old entertained). My daughter paid with a 20 and came back with a five. After about ten minutes, hotdog was served. We waiting about 25 minutes for the tenders and then asked if our order was ready. Was told tenders were never ordered. Not that big a deal, continued to play with my kids on the open field. After another thirty minutes, I realized that I was charged for the tenders. I went back to explain but the gentleman cooking didn't believe me and acted like it was my fault. I paid in cash and their receipts only show what we ordered,(one hotdog) not that we gave them 20$. I wasn't going to start there and make a scene and the guy clearly showed that he didn't want to handle it professionally. I strongly believe the lady taking the money counted wrong. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. Writing this review mainly because of the lack of customer service or respect. They are up 15 bucks and down a customer. Great Customer Service, Food Fresh and Hot!! The Lemon Pepper Wings and Sweet and Tangy Wings are soooooo good.

Wow, that was one dry burger. I got the Fred Burger and I finished two glasses of water to eat the whole burger besides that it tasted ok and the fries were hot but if you are expecting a juicy burger this is NOT the truck for you.

Dry burger, missed items, and horrible service. Should be called Mike's come get ya some attitude

Food and service was awful!! Wings was fried hard and unseasoned just like the guy's attitude on the truck!! Tuhhh if I ever eat offf this truck again....

Tasty food truck! Tried the chicken yum yum sandwich- flavorful & good sauce. The beef yum yum sandwich was also delicious. Fast & kind service too.

Yuck yuck, will not go back to this truck. The mozzarella sticks were not just over cooked, they were burnt. The burger patty was thick but it was dry and bland. I ordered a western burger that is supposed to have bbq sauce on it and received a burger with no sauce on it. It left me wondering if I could have gotten my food in less than 20 minutes had they not overcooked it?The sauce on the burger bun in the picture was added by me.
