I came here so I could go for a walk on the beach. I came during a week day and luckily parking wasn't bad. I went up the ramp, which was redone about a year ago. When I arrived on the beach, it wasn't super crowded (mainly because it's been cooler), so I was able to have a nice relaxing walk.FYI this time of year there aren't any lifeguards, so swim at your own risk. This beach is known for great shark teeth hunting. While I was looking for some this trip, I didn't find any. Maybe the next time! It's nice having a beach so close and parking is still free!

I wanted to come here so badly after finding out this beach has shark teeth and it did not disappoint! We came in the evening after work and I found 8 shark teeth and we stayed until the sun went down. Plenty of parking and easy to find, although you do have to go through a lot of residential area to get here. We went again a couple days later and it was beautiful but no shark teeth:( It was packed this day because of President's Day, but still found parking. The beach was superrrrr packed this day though. Will be coming here each time I come back to Jax!

Micklers beach is always a fan favorite. I go here at least twice a month to look for shark teeth! Unfortunately there has been less and less so you should go now while there are still some out there! They have bathrooms and showers outside and there is always a lovely crowd.

Took a day trip to Jacksonville and visited Mickler's Beach. It is our second time we have been here and simply adore it. They have a private parking lot that is free. They have several changing rooms and about 6 showers and also have restrooms. The walk to the beach is pretty simple walking in a boardwalk or a mat to get to the beach and there is a small hill very easy. This area is extremely beautiful with huge beach homes as the landscape in the back and the beach in the front.People have their dogs and leashes and everyone we encountered here is very friendly and cheery. It was crowded but everyone spread out pretty well. This beach is known for their shark teeth and people walk around searching for them here. I tried the first time but I couldn't find any. No luck and that's fine. The water was so perfect and warm but cool at the same time. I definitely love this beach and will be back again and again. This beach is dog friendly as all beaches in Jacksonville area are. They are on leashes for the most part here.

Very clean and easily accessible beach in Ponte Vedra. Free parking, bathrooms, outdoor showers are conveniently located at the entrance from the adjacent parking lot. Arrive early before 9:30 AM during the summer weekdays if planning on staying most of the day for close parking. Publix is located approximately 1.5 miles before the beach so you can pick up food/beverages. Other convenient shops located close by too. Looking forward to returning on a weekend too soon!

A lot of park long but come early it does get crowded. Nice bathrooms close by the beach access. Dog friendly and THE best shark teeth finds! Can't wait to come back.

Hands down our favorite beach! It's clean and has proved to be a great spot for our family! There is street parking outside the parking lot but I'm too chicken to try it because I know people who have gotten ticketed before! Pro tip-arrive before 9am if you want to park in the lot, there's plenty of parking but it's normally full by 9:30am.

Mickler's Beach is located in Ponte Vedra roughly 15 to 20 minutes from my house. I have visited this beach on several occasions in the past few years. The parking lot is free and is a decent size.Ponte Vedra reopened for sunbathing May 4, where Jacksonville Beach remained open for exercise only. It had been nearly two months since I sat on the beach so I headed for an evening of relaxing in my beach chair. I also picked this beach because there was a wide path to the beach from the parking so you are not required to pass anyone at a close distance. There were also plenty of showers for washing off the sand as well as bathrooms and changing rooms. This is a nice alternative to the Jacksonville beaches as it is a residential area. It was pretty crowded that day as you would have thought it was the weekend. But with the beaches being closed for so long to anything other than exercising it was to be expected. However it was not so crowded that you were unable to social distance.

Soooooo many seashells! Although make sure you go early if you're looking for shark teeth. You'll definitely find some during the day too, but the probability of finding the most/best will be early in the morning before the beach becomes crowded. The waves were awesome as well. So if you like to body surf or boogie board, then you'll love Mickler's Beach!

I was looking a fun but family friendly beach. From minute my friends and I got there, it was amazing. Plenty of parking and not over crowded. The facilities include changing rooms restrooms and showers. I just wish they had a food truck or place where to buy ice cream.
