So local, friendly, family style - like going to Grandmothers for lunch and your cousins are serving. I was delightfully impressed.

Don't judge a book by its cover is great advice and the adage applies here, this little shanty is not much to look at in fact it's likely many people looking for a great meal just drive by this little gem.Upon entering this establishment it was obvious there were some good things going inside, we grabbed a few stools at the half filled counter being all the tables were filled with customers stuffing their faces. I tried to get a look see at what the diners were having, but not wanting to be a busy body I decided to wait on the menu which arrived with a big o' how ya'll doing and whatcha drinking honey - yep I'm in the place I wanted to be.We got here at the transition from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu although most were enjoying their morning meal. Hey I'm pretty easy I'll flip the page and look at what's for lunch. We scanned the options displayed on the worn handmade menus, mine looked like it had been rolled to swat flies (I'm joking) it was clean - while we are speaking of clean the staff were constantly wiping down everything and the kitchen staff was doing the same.Uhm it was only seconds until I found the fried pork chops although fried pork is always enticing I had to ask my friendly server if they were bone-in and she smiled and said of course they are sugar and they are delicious, my search ended at that moment and I ordered two fried crispy, in my opinion rendered pork fat is irresistible I got fries and Lima Bean, we also ordered a hand formed freshly prepared cheese burger I was okay with sharing although a whole pork chop for a half a burger isn't a good trade in my opinion (fortunately she wasn't interested) so I was somewhat relived - okay the pork chops were heavenly I mean almost my MeMa good she fried hers in lard so it wasn't an even playing field but no doubt these are some stellar chops - the Lima Beans were delicious as well but the portion was too small for my liking next time I'm skipping the fries and doubling up on the beans.The burger I'm told was phenomenal (maybe I should of bartered a little harder) it looked amazing and the amount of pickles made it especially good I'm told. Okay good service, great food, a friendly and an attentive staff and prices that are unheard of in my beach town - yes this is where you want to eat...

Great home cooking with a cheerful crew. Just like your grandmother cooks it. Breakfast is our favorite, lunch and dinner are good too.

Crowded, slow service and sub par food. Tables so tight you can eat off your neighbors plate. Not for me!

Always good diner food. The specials are daily and tasty. Breakfast affordable and done well. Dinner includes liver and onions and fried chicken. Hamburgers, grill cheese sandwiches and coney hot dogs, as well fish and pork subs are all ways available.Although we got a mushy fried fish sandwich once, they promptly replaced it with my soup of choice for free. The ranch bacon wrapped chicken sub hit spot. If you are in Satsuma, give it a try.

We had the lasagna pizza. Delicious! The sangria was great. But Samuel our waiter was even better. Thanks!

They have great food for a good price...Come join the family like atmosphere ......... the staff is always welcoming and friendly to all

I stopped there today for lunch, because of good reviews. Order was taken wrong, had a side order of coleslaw for 2.99, about three little spoonfuls, also ordered side of onion rings, for 2.50, only had five little onion rings about the size of three quarters and two half dollars. The side portions were very small, friendly place but not worth the money.

Food was 100% down home country. The only fault I found was the restroom. It was way to small and only offered one facility. But the food was great and I left there happy,
