Margaritaville Beach Hotel - Jacksonville Beach

Last week, John and I took vacation and ended up at the BEAUTIFUL Margaritaville in Jacksonville Beach! Located right on the Atlantic Ocean, the late Jimmy Buffett really brought, "changed in attitudes, changes in latitudes" to life! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with beachy colors and vibes and a margarita glass chandelier! Taking the elevator up to the lobby, it reminds me of the tropics! Breezy seating areas, Adirondack chairs facing the large windows that overlook the ocean, palm trees, and a large flip flop! It is all so tropical. Relaxing.Up in our room, we had a great partial view with small patio where we could open the balcony door and hear the waves! When entering, you're greeted with the green tiles in the immaculate bathroom and a large colorful Florida post card on the wall. In the main area, baskets hang from the ceiling, tropical images throughout, and a comfy king bed with a pillow that says "changes in latitudes."The staff was amazing and super helpful the entire trip.

Came up to Jax Beach for a night and stayed here. It was a great stay! The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The bed was super comfortable as well. If you like the beach vibe and Jimmy Buffet this hotel is for you! There were robes in the room to use. Although we didn't take advantage, the pool was heated and there was a fire pit out back. There were two bars to enjoy which included a restaurant. The bar tenders were so friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great hotel with Great views. Stay away from Joes coffee shop. I've never had the urge to leave a review more after the horrible customer service at the coffee shop

I have never stayed at a Margaritaville Hotel and Resort until this vacation. I highly recommend this place. I really can't say enough good things about it. The hotel interior is beautiful and very Jimmy Buffett inspired. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Everything was clean and the hotel smelled great, giving you that beach vibe. There is a Landshark bar and grill in the hotel with Landshark and other beers on tap. They also have a nice selection of drinks. The food was good and the service was fast. There's a coffee and breakfast shop inside as well and the coffee was very good. The breakfast sandwiches were very good and they even have made to order food.Now for the room. Blown away is all I can say. I absolutely loved the room. My ocean view was amazing. The shower is the room was probably one of the best showers I've ever had. I pressure was excellent and the Margaritaville soaps smell amazing. Everything about this hotel scream Jimmy Buffett and the Parrothead lifestyle. If you are a Jimmy fan you have to stay at one of these resorts. I honestly can not wait to come back and book this hotel again!Fins Up! Bubbles Up!

This hotel was a lovely stay for a quick trip I took to Jacksonville. It's right on the beach and has lots of cute decor. My bed was comfy and the water pressure in yhe shower was good too. I also stopped by the hotel restaurant for lunch and enjoyed my fish and chips with a margarita.

Since I am not accustomed to leaving 2 star reviews, especially for a hotel, I will try to organize my thoughts by summarizing all of the various problems experienced in an easy to comprehend list:1.) When attempting to check-in around 3:40PM, my room was not ready and the agent could not even provide me with an estimated time of when it would be ready. Agent got confused and then attempted to check me in to a room that was already reserved. Realized his mistake, and then got me upset all over again. 2.) No luggage carts were available upon check in and the way the parking is at the hotel you basically have to valet your car. Keep in mind that I was in town for a wedding, so we had a ridiculous amount of luggage with us. Employees did not even offer to find us a luggage cart, they basically shrugged it off and said oh well.3.) Housekeeping ran out of towels???4.) Showers only have half of a glass door. I wish this were a joke, but unfortunately it is not. My butt was freezing cold while showering, which is not an experience I would like to have again. 5.) After our wedding at about 12:00AM when attempting to crawl back to our room and pass out, BOTH of the elevators were broken. There were basically just 10-20 guests staring at each other wondering what was wrong. We had to walk all the way around to the elevators on the other side of the building, which was made more difficult because they are located towards the back of the bar which at that point was closed for the night. 6.) Toilet paper holder fell out of the wall??? (Reminder, this is basically a brand new hotel)7.) Ocean view was great, but our balcony was so tiny that you could barely walk on to it with no ability to fit a chair to sit out and enjoy. Overall, I would not recommend staying at Margaritaville. I'm glad I experienced it, but it just seems that it is not very well run and maintained and therefore not worth the money that you pay for it.

Great location, we stayed here for a Christmas party and long parents getaway. The room was clean, they had valet parking but also could park on the street if needed. Check in was nice. They had a restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean. Overall very pretty. One thing was the room key, I could not figure out the elevator and the room key. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. It was a little annoying.

Not sure how I feel about this place right now. At a wedding, although it is Dec in Florida, it's cold and windy. Many issues prior to the wedding. Literally three hours before Margaritavlle was going to cancel the wedding (offered to give the money back) but that's not the point. Said they could take their wedding elsewhere because they asked for common items like, CHAIRS outside for the guests. I get that it windy but no so that chairs cannot be in place for the guests. And now that everyone is sitting and waiting, do you think they brought out heaters. HELLO NO!! This may be nice for some, but it ain't for all. Would I use this place for anything, hotel rooms, venue... no sir. And this is my very first time in a Margaritaville stateside.

Friendly big open beach bar! Great drink options and tasty bar food! Monday night football fun! Great place to hang out with friends!

We have stayed here a number of times and always have a great experience! The rooms are clean and the decor is beautiful. We love being right on the beach! Their on-site restaurant is exceptional as well.
